I know bro, but this is not precisely the most "legal" way to play the game, at least not in the eyes of Grok, he will not like this mod.

However, I don't want to run the risk of being banned from the discord, because at the end of the day that dude is the creator of the mod pack and head of the team that makes patches and updates for the mod pack very frequently.

And we don’t ban people for gameplay reasons… People are banned when not following the rules multiple times (posting NSFW, discussing politics etc).
About gamma addons on Anomaly discord, I can see that it generates some kind of hate that I don’t really get. Gamma is based on Anomaly, and gamma addons work for anomaly.
Also several Anomaly addons are originating from the gamma community (Compass minimap for instance). It’s dumb to keep these addons on a discord server for a specific modpack when everyone can profit from it once on moddb :)

I hope the authors of those mods on the GAMMA discord decide to share their work here too, because there are a lot of great new add-ons that can work on vanilla Anomaly too.

This reminded me of when I was playing Fallout with a million different ammunition with me as I walked the wastelands.
is it possible to just reduce the ammo weight instead of completely removing it ?
Yes but it would take a bit of time. First you have to change the weight of each ammo type in configs (you have to unpack them first) then use DLTXify to make it DLTX and compatible with almost everything
This addon realistically re-weights ammo according to real sources. But idk if it makes it much lighter
