Features over 400 genuine Niko Bellic voicelines from GTAIV for the player character! Unleash your inner Serb war criminal onto the Zone!
Utilising the AYYKYU'S VOICED ACTOR FRAMEWORK V1.0 made popular by Anomaly and GAMMA modpacks, this version of the classic player character voice mod changes most of the voicelines into Niko Bellic's original voice acting featured in GTAIV. Niko will command teammates, respond to getting hit, taunt enemies with steadily increasing rage in ever longer-lasting firefights, and occasionally contemplate the misery of the Zone, and human existence in this universe. Pro users can utilise the companion wheel sounds for immersive monologue to best fit their in-game situations, like looting or entering a game of Blackjack.
[Tested in a 1.5.2 GAMMA modpack in late 2022, should function in most loadouts and versions]
So I'm a big fan of GTA IV, having played it non-stop all my childhood. Now that Anomaly / Gamma has become so popular, and the game gives you a lot of freedom to roleplay any kind of person you want, I don't see a better fitting character to continue my adventures in the Zone with.

LORE: Having tried his luck in Liberty City, Niko Bellic returns back to Eastern Europe to escape sad memories of his family suffering and his would-be wife dying in the hands of rival gangsters. Tired of running away from trouble and violence, he decides to meet his war-time inner demons and sets out to Ukraine, where conflict rages with foreign and domestic troops fighting over land and artefacts. Step into the boots of a Yugoslav War veteran and use your former skills to live out the final days of this unlikely (anti)hero in the Zone.
Should work with older saves but not guaranteed. Try it out, its just scripts that call out voicelines to play during your game =)
Installation (same as always):
-Install Stalker Anomaly/Gamma normally according to their instructions
-Start Mod Organizer associated with your Anomaly / Gamma
-Click the "install new mod from an archive" button in the upper left corner of Mod Organizer
-Select either the normal or HD version option
-Enable it and move it near the bottom of the mod load order list. It might conflict with DOOM-like weapon inspection, Food and Drink animation mods etc, just overwrite these, since this modpack does exactly what they do at the time of publishing this, they just make the voicelines Niko Bellic-flavour.
--You can see all potential conflicts by clicking NikoActorPortrait in the mod organizer mod load order list, and checking out if any mods turn red above the NikoActorPortrait in the load order. Disable them if you want to be 100% sure there are no crashes caused by this mod (but leave the FDDA animation mod enabled! This mod just overwrites one syringe usage voiceline!)
Have fun and try not to make old Niko suffer too much on his last days of criminal work before retirement, will you? His PTSD can develop only so far!

Good job on voiceovers, but some things in that zip should be placed into "optional" folder. For example - not everyone likes Grok's doom weapon inspect, etc.
Well, if youre savvy with mods, open the file location (right click in Mod Organiser -> open in explorer) and delete the weapon inspection folder. The folder structure is smaller than the brances on a Serbian spring twig, should not be hard to find.

It does have a three level progressive taunt system. Niko will become audibly more enraged the more enemies you kill in quick sugfestion. Im only in Garbage and already spouting level 2 "Any more of you?? Any more?!" type stuff! Maybe yours are conflicting and being overwritten by some setting or mod? Or you didnt go on enough killing sprees yet.
While I appreciate the effort the samples themselves are a bit too 'lo-fi' sounding for me. Also, I really loved the breathing/mask sound, can you release that as a solo option? I've been using this for a few days and it works as stated, just not my cup of tea as it turns out.
Sadly the audio bitrate maxes out at about 40k Hz, as the original audio was released as such 15 years ago.
The mask effects are from a different mod. Theyre tinkered into this one with great effort. You can try to fool around with this mods scripts and delete everything else from it but the breath / exhausted lines, or try the Russian / Tarkov Bear Operator voice mod?
to ALL YOU GREAT MODDERS, PLEASE find the CAMPFIRE CHATTER files and MOD IT to english voice over. the chatter is so damn IMMERSIVE!
Mate I got no idea how to rip audio from this game's files. Why would you translate the Ukrainians on the camp fires tho? Only Niko speaks crummy English because he's new to Ukraine.
I have a silly question:
I don't use MCM since its too complicated but I got this great mod (and use) to work manually.
But I have to ask "Is there a taunt button?" or was this created without a button in mind? I'm just curious.
Will this be updated to the 0.9 of gamma? Blood pools doesnt seem to be compatible.
