A big fortress for Doom Guy to overtake. Non-linear, full of secrets and dark corners, inspired by the Soulsborne games. Run on Doom II.
Mouse-look recommended, jumping recommended as well, the opposite is feasable, but with so much verticality, not being able to look up or down is painful. I only played it on GZDoom, I don’t know how well it does on anything else. Like for my other WADs, I recommend muting the music and putting on something else in the background, because you’ll get tired of the level 1 music real fast. I personally recommend Warcraft music, or any old dungeon crawler soundtrack. This is also not the type of level you can just run through mindlessly. Take in your surroundings, be careful with your health and ammo, and make sure not to miss any of the weapons, as some of them are tucked away and can be missed entirely. Immerse yourself a bit, try to find all the secrets.
This is the last WAD I’ll ever make, so I decided to go all out and combine bits and pieces from every one of my older WADs (see the Castle-Pack for those). It’s a sort of Best-Of compilation, in a way, everything crammed into one compact fortress. Banged it out in about 5 days, and I’m decently happy with how it came out (although I’m not too fond of the final part). If you know where everything is and what to do, you can finish it in about 10 minutes.

Those Castle Pack maps are works of beauty. The amount of effort put into those is astounding to me, and it was immensely pleasing you listed them as Public Domain. They are the IDEAL type of style for a Castlevania type campaign!

Woah! I really had a lot of fun with this particular map. I'm not into non-linear maps, but I'm in love with castle-themed maps. Such a charmful style. You did something quite good here! I'd personally recommend some tweaking regarding very tight spaces and thin ledges, and also different style of doors. But, otherwise, this is a solid WAD.
Pity to hear you won't make more WADs, I had fun with this one! You should release it on Doomworld (if you haven't) to gather some more players :D
I did found one small error here. The green-floor sectors deal damage.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The green floors hurting you (the top of the hedge-maze) is on purpose. I didn't want the player running on top of the maze, essentially. It's still very easy to drop down and get the BFG at the end, but to see where it is, you have to stand on the green, which in turn damages you, which in turn may or may not encourage you to just drop down and do the maze proper.
