MoW:AS game version 2.05.15 or higher REQUIRED. Brand new skirmish on a brand new map brought to you by Vashyo and DJSatane. You are in charge of American forces. Beautiful map, the skirmish includes basic original DMS skirmishes at the core but with number of enhancements. Enemy ai posses number of logic and aggressive tweaks which makes especailly fighting against their armor much tougher. Late in the skirmish Germans bring even special threat from the sea! This will be our last new mod for MoW:AS 1, we have been working hard officially for MoW:AS 2 and aside from official content any mods we may release in future will be released for MoW:AS 2:) This skrimish was actually completed early in 2013 but never released, we decided to improve it, polish it and officially release it finally. INSTALLATION:- Extract the mod folder from the archive.
In this folder, you will find the mod folder that you have to move in the "mods" folder inside your Men of War: Assault Squad directory (if this folder does not exist, create it)Normal Path to Men of War Assault Squad:

After install this mod, when you open the skirmish menu, you will see a slot "New Missions/Mods" right above all other faction buttons. Click on it to access the mission.

You are on latest version of the game right? What error do you get when you crash and can you reproduce it? We played it with 9 people in coop (through starting game 8v8 and then switching) and we had no lag or anyone crash.
Oh and what are your pc specifications? Further, dont mix any mods to be sure.
Disable other mods if you have them active
yes, i am in the last version, my mow assault squad is from steam so it update automatically, i dont know how to say the error is haha is very common, it appears a window saying so many things that i dont understand, this happen with many mods to many people and it happen to me in this one

Just completed this mission and very enjoyable, one of the best looking AS1 maps i have seen.... 10 / 10
We going to update it shortly with few minor fixes, a bit toned down enemy infantry reinfrocements as right now since the tanks are a bit smarter for ai its a bit tough, so that will be balanced better, further minor optimizations to the ai tweaks along with the barge being improved to pose higher threat for every 2 minutes its not destroyed.
if you want a challenge try heroic, however I will have new final version up in a day or 2 that also takes into account whether you are playing alone or in coop with many players when it calculates how much enemy infantry arrives.
yeh it could be cause i cant save the game is strange it just happen in assault squad i have the men of war 1 and it goes perfectly i will see thanks anyway :)

Are you trying to use GSM with this mod? If so unload all mods in mods tab first, apply and restart game. Next start game go to mods tab and you should have no mods active, next add sicily mod ONLY and apply. After sicily is active then apply gsm mod and apply. Try to play it now, I believe gsm is 2 file mod nowdays right? So try to add gsm core mod and then gsm skirmish mod last after sicily is already active. This is the only way it would work.
However, you have mowas game patched to latest version right? Try to run the mission without any other mod first to make sure that works. I havent tried this with latest GSM for sure but Sicily has to be loaded first before any gsm mod is loaded because there is 1 file "human.inc" thats modded and you want gsm mods to be loaded last so their human.inc takes over as the one thats used.
Very weird...dat balancing is just not right...Map itself is superb but common, infantry cost 150 and a Stuart 125?! dafuq? make infantry 100 or 80 idk but atm it brings more to just use Stuarts instead of infantry
Our maps are balanced towards heroic while being played by +5 people. It might be easier on lower difficulties. You start with less money on higher difficulties and theres stronger tanks so losing a stuart has serious consequences at start.
every single AT gun on the field can kill it with one hit even the smaller 42mm ones can penetrate if they don't get terribly unlucky, every tank can instantly kill it except ausf.B and not to mention there being bazooka man with some enemy squads. most medium and up tanks have like 90% chance of knocking it out with first hit while it struggles to kill enemy tanks past G which also has longer range than it does, and the map is relatively open early on too. It becomes pretty useless past the first two flags.
Infantry is not common it varies, sometimes you get conscripts in there, sometimes marines or airbornes. It randomizes inviduals of the group so that they arent all exactly the same. Every unit is balanced in comparison to the 150 infantry in all of our maps.
Stuart will likely also be even weaker when AS2 hits since some values are changed

i get dot_desert2 error on this map (i have 2.05.15 retail Mow-AS)
It means you did not patch the game properly, what version of the game do you have GOTY or regular? each one requires manual patches that are different, best if you can use steam is to register your gamespy cd key with steam and let steam update you.
Also make sure you using the download off moddb or my forums for regular game and not the downloads off my post in comments thats meant for GSMX mod version.
sorry for late reply but i got it fixed by using Mow:Redtide's Dot_desert entity (i have Mow:Red tide and i did'nt got it from a mow red tide mod)
Still it means you using improperly patched version of the game or have older version.
An overhauled and improved version(similar to GSM version) will be released for AS2.

It works in gem editor but the mod has to be applied active in game before you run editor.
