General description:
Mod changes Zone.FM to only Russian music, including chanson, pop, synth-pop etc., while CHPR focuses on more Western music, ranging from 80's music to synthwave, as well as S.T.A.L.K.E.R OST.

Compatibilty:
This should work fine, as the files have been extracted from Anomaly db files and do not interfere with other mods. (As a warning - DO NOT use the original TRX Radio mod for Anomaly, as it will crash the game. Talking from experience.)

Drop the ''gamedata"" folder into your S.TA.L.K.E.R Anomaly directory.

I mean all of these 3 artists had their tracks in Hotline Miami OSTs, and we all know how successful this game is, that's why they're quite popular. But have you heard of Tokyo Rose, Power Glove, The Encounter, Neon Nox, Volkor X, Artemus Gordon, Carbon Kiler and so on? They definitely deserve some attention as well.

Why not just all the song into one thing that cycles more often to avoid same crap playing over and over?
The real problem is not being able to randomize the crap at each bar/trader. Each time i switch a map is just plays the same 5 damn songs. I seriously hate playing with only zone.fm and rather be in a shootout with monolith. Rather than hear the same bar junk another 50 f'n times without being able to cycle music at traders at all.

This does not modify the "world" radios, like the ones on the 100Rads or Sidorovich Bunker.
It just modifies the songs from the MP3 player on the PDA.
Well, it does modify the world radios. Since camp radios are coded to use Zone.FM, they do use it. That was a problem with the original radio as well, hence they'd play "Horse With No Name" or Viktor Coy's "Gruppa krovi", like 50 times in a row, which annoyed me as well. Of course, I apologize, but my knowledge of STALKER modding isn't quite vast, although I will look into it and, if I figure it out, update the world ones as well, so the songs are more randomized around the locals. I'm not sure how the songs are selected for both radios right now.Thanks for your feedback tho, appreciated! :)

Well, as I've said before - I chose the songs,according to my own taste. I made this for myself, first of all, and decided to upload it. Buuuuuuut..I am thinking about updating it, so I might include some more Radiohead tunes in >:]
Thank you for looking into world radio change up. I seriously hate the soldier song sung by the english woman and the other song sung by those 2 chicks. Jesus they cannot sing! Its like listening to a cat being bashed to death by a bagpipe!

Sorry for the late reply! I suggest to uninstall the TRX version, if you have it. A friend was testing it, and it kept crashing her game. Just leave the radio, made by me. It's literally the same radio Anomaly uses, only extracted from the game files :)

God, I need to check the page more. Basically, what I meant is - if you have my mod and the original TRX mod in the gamedata folder, the game will go kaputt. What my mod does is override the modified TRX version for Anomaly, which is packaged in a db file.
Wait, pardon my dumbness, but how am i supposed to listen to this without the original TRX radio? Am i missing something? Should i use mp3 mode only?
Sorry for the late reply! ^^ What I meant is - the radio files I used for my mod, are extracted straight from Anomaly. What I meant about the TRX radio - the original TRX radio and Anomaly basically conflict each other, which can make the game crash. Just throw in the my gamedata folder, go into the game and turn on Zone.FM or CHPR and you'll see for yourself )

Nope, I tested with a clean install and without mods, and Updated Radio not working, CTD when i load new game or savegame.
Excuse me, my good sir, did you, by chance, add a third playlist to the music player under the radio tab? If so, my game closes whenever it is selected. I gather the reason is because there are so many tracks that the game can't load them all properly, but I'll need to run Admin mode and see what the error message comes back with. If the third playlist is your work, could you explain to me how to fix it, if possible? Thank you.
Edit: I ran Admin mode and repeated the crash. It's a fatal error regarding a trx_radio_script286, it's trying to concatenate (or however you spell it) a nil value. Now, I don't know how to crack open this script and fix the problem myself, but I hope it helps in the troubleshooting process. Thanks again.
Edit 2: Well, I may have found the reason: you didn't create a playlist 3; it's a pre-made empty folder that's just sitting in the radio subfolder. That would explain the "nil value", it's loading nothing. Apologies! Sorry to disturb on such foolish grounds. Thank you for such a wonderful radio mod, you and I have overlapping tastes, I happen to know quite a few songs in the CHPR station. Anyway, take care!

For those experiencing crashing at game load after the december update of Anomaly, if you remove ui_mm_opt_radio.script from this mod, it works. However, you lose whatever options menu this file represents, which was causing the crash at load. A workaround until this gets updated.
That shouldn't cause you to lose any other options than the ones related to the radio, corect?

I finally didn't installed that addon thinking it was colliding with the other radio one, but if that was the cause I should take it finally. Do they collide ? Is this one requiering a new game like the other one ? Am I asking too much question ? x)

If there aren't any ogg files in the third playlist, it will automatically crash. Just move one song from playlist 1 or 2 to playlist 3 and you should be good to go :)
Anyone know if it's possible to keep the radio on after a reload of a game? It's frustrating that the radio turns off after every reload, especially on higher difficulties
Aha, same here, I start to know the start of some song and radio by hearth, I never get very far befor dying ^^
Sadly, since it's done that way it's probably because it can't otherwise, but indeed it would be cool to save also the state of the soundtracks.
Yeah, I was thinking that it probably wasn't possible, especially not for Anomaly since the PDAs are actual upgradable items that can be swapped out anytime (although maybe that's a CoC feature, not sure) but one can hope :)
If I knew more about how the LUA scripting worked, and had more time, I might give it a chance myself but I think it's just something we have to live with for now.
