Replaces the compressed-sounding and more generic music in UA with 40k sourced tracks
this is a little clientside replacer for the menu, loading and ingame music that plays in the Ultimate Apocalypse mod. i found some of the tracks to be too compressed or generic, so a friend and i cooked up a playlist to replace them and came up with this.
the tracks are sourced primarily from various 40k titles and secondarily from titles that sound 40kish, and the mod prioritizes an imperial theme interwoven with some chaos and necron ambiance
this mod overwrites files that aren't checked for multiplayer compatiblity, so it doesn't interfere with online play at all, and works the same way on any ua derivative with the same playlist and file structure, like salcols or kauravan campaign.
to note, you must overwrite the music files in these submods as well, since they have their own music files packed in their respective folders.

1; does this work in dow in general?
2; how can i add my own music choices
thank you
1: nope, it's made for the UA playlist file. it has some vanilla track overwrites, but it's not a full thing, and will depend on what playlist your module uses
2: its relatively simple, you need audacity to export .wav files as 44100hz signed 16-bits and then use the dow sound tools to convert those to .fda files, and replace as you like.
dow sound tools: Mediafire.com
you can consult your mod's soundplaylistmusic.lua file to check what tracks you should replace in order to replace the ingame music.
thank you for checking out the mod!
This is awesome!
