Sniping without cells with a lore-firendly, early-to-mid game marksman rifle.
I was always wondering, why UAC and the Space Marine Corps have abandoned the concept of the ballistic sniper/marksman rifles. Sure, we have the railgun, but it seems to be some kind of an experimental, or at least not too widespread option to kill enemy forces from major distances. I am also sure that the production of the railgun is not something of a cost-effective and simple task, so keeping around some kind of a precision rifle with a scope should be a wise idea to arm the bulk of the designated marksman marines.
This gun fires the same rounds as the basic assault rifle, so the ammo shouldn't be an issue. This is a semi-auto rifle with a scope and a 10-round magazine. It's highly accurate while aiming trough the scope, but you're hardly gonna hit anything if you are firing from the hip.
The package also conatains a spawner .wad that spawns the rifle with a certain possibility instead of the minigun/machinegun/SMG. You can also add/spawn it by the "give/summon marksmanrifle" console command.
We already have a sniper rifle for Brutal Doom (Moddb.com), but it hasn't been updated for ages so I took the effort and created this one. (Almost) all credit goes to ⋆Ƅarge™ for the sprites.

Say, nice gun add-on you make there; I've bee using it for a while and gotta say, it packs a punch when it needs to. Just curious, think you could whip this add-on for Project Brutality 3.0 as well? Just asking.

Say, I was wondering, could it be possible to give this sniper some "Bullet Upgrades"? you know, the same way its being done with the shotgun using slugs shells.

I'm thinking about a Kar98k with a low-magnificion marksman scope. But probably the FG42 will be my next gun. Making bolt-actions is a true pain in the ***

A dedicated addon .wad should be made for this purpose. I don't see any point to modify the whole core decorate script for this.

This mod is actually great. I have been looking for good sniper mods that can be useful to eliminate enemies from afar especially in EDAY. But I have a suggestion, can u make this sniper able to zoom in for farther distances (4x, 8x, 16x) by pressing the dualwield/special action key? That'd be great so u can snipe them from way farther distances.
can you make a patch to disable crosshair when ads for bdv21?
