I don't mean to be nasty, but why do you allways make the maps for cold crisis so dark and dull?
It's supposed to be Northern Europe winter-time. But if it's any help, just open the world builder, go on, it's only a click away. Now, Open SK_CWC_Twobridges.map, then click Edit, Global Lighting, here you can brighten up things. Save and play, but rember u will mismatch in MP vs others who have origional map. I think.
... The maps are good though. I make maps too, so I don't want you to think I was being nasty. I was just wondering, that's all.
Downloading now i will play it later tonight, i will rate and comment after i played it.
for some reason i get maps that will download & play, while other's will download ,but will not play...they are missing map string,or something else. can you help? your map won't play.
I think the problem is this: When you unzip you have a folder called '2009_08_12_SK_CWC_Twobridges.' Inside this folder is another folder called 'SK_CWC_Twobridges.' put only this folder (SK_CWC_Twobridges) in Documents>...Zero Hour>Maps. It will not work putting just the '2009_08_12_SK_CWC_Twobridges.' folder in there. Sorry about this, am new to uploading, will try zip them better next time.
also i like all maps by anyone who takes the time to make one.
the maps that work have a map as a page with lines through it & map stg.,a page that is blank.
I don't know what the prob is. Unzip, take the SK_CWC_Twobridges folder out of the 2009_08_12_SK_CWC_Twobridges folder and place it in zero hour maps folder... SK_CWC_Twobridges folder contains 'SK_CWC_Twobridges.map' and 'SK_CWC_Twobridges.tga'. These are the only neccessary files.
The *.str files etc are for specialized purposes, e.g to annoy u every time u play the map with a ''Such-and-such built this map etc etc'' msg, or for weather effects.
ooh now i see it's this map. cool you really followed my advice and maked it a 4 player map excellent. well i must say that this is your best map so fare well at least its the best one i´ve seen you done. 8/10 P:
Well i kind of picked the best one from the map-pack, made it smaller, gave it some more interesting bits, *breath-in*, added two other players, made sure that the farm in the north with the canal all around it was Soviet proof, etc etc.
Have now started on a new generation of maps. Please feel free to add more comments about the type of map u would like to play.
okay well one map i really want to play is your map checkpoint but redo it so it's a 4 player map and some more houses and trees so it doesnt feel that empty if you could do that it would be awesome
when i open the map folder there is no two maps.it must be the way my computer reads some map downloads,because 1/2 the maps of cwc work,the other don't.thanks for trying to help me!

no,i-7,vista home premium,quad.
all the cwc maps that start with ''sk'', will download but not show up in map selection!
is this compatible with other mods?
