Mod for True Stalker that allows you to do all avaliable upgrades on armors and guns!

!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Its recommended to start a new game to use this! Otherwise your game could crash if you already have upgraded guns.
If you want to use it anyways i cannot guarantee that it will work.
In this case, just delete the folder again and everything will work normal again.
Be sure you have patched your game up to 1.4.

1. Unpack the content (gamedata folder and fsgame.ltx) from the folder depending on which one you want (Free or to Pay) to your gamefolder.
2. Change the following line in your fsgame.ltx (can be found in the main gamefolder)
from:
$game_data$ = false | true | $fs_root$ | gamedata\
to:
$game_data$ = true | true | $fs_root$ | gamedata\
OR:
Just use the fsgame.ltx contained in the downloaded archive.

The game isn't starting after changing the fsgame.ltx
The fsgame.ltx is now included, try it with the file from download.
If your game crashes on startup, please send me your crashlog.

I followed your instructions. When I got to the gun upgrade area, I couldn't open all the items to upgrade. Only some existing items can be upgraded
Can’t tell you for sure, I don’t even know if we’re really talking about the same thing ; but I know that I’m playing vanilla and yet, I once found a TOZ-34 I couldn’t upgrade, while it is an upgradable weapon. Seems to be a vanilla issue. (Or it’s expected, idk…)
However, I had a small issue while testing the mod : To get an upgrade I had to buy the two previous ones, while only one is needed normally. But if I recall correctly, it’s the same with all Stalker games when using this mod, so it’s probably a side effect.
Hey, it's just like BitoOblib already said. For some upgrades you have to buy some previous ones, or some others from the upgradetree of the gun. Unfortunately there is no other way to code that.
But I can assure you that all upgrades are applicable.
I will update the addon today with a version for free upgrades. So everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to pay for the upgrades or not.

What folder are you mentioning?
I mean the "gamedata" folder, the folder where the mod is installed.
Just delete it completely or just the files of the mod to uninstall it.
The upgrades are free, but most still require the tools needed.
Yeah, thats normal and not part of the addon. You still need to deliver the tools first.

Came to report a crash but it seems others have reported it as well.

Oh a whim, I deleted the folder for the bm16 shotgun and the game now loads and I can upgrade the weapons I have in inventory. My assumption is that if I try to upgrade a bm16 it will either revert to the standard upgrade scheme or crash the game. Idk but it is a sort of workaround for anyone else who wants to take the risk.
