A modification of the FNX-45 Tactical's vanilla textures, sounds, and red dot sight.
The main purpose of this his addon is to modify the textures of the FNX-45 and it's variants for better visual appeal and variety without clashing with Anomaly's visual style.
The red dot has also been changed to look nicer and facilitate a clearer sight picture.
It also changes the reload sounds to that of the USP, and the firing sound has been changed to one recorded by me, from video of a real suppressed FNX firing.
If you don't like the sound changes and simply want the visuals, you can of course unpack the addon after downloading, remove the new sound files, and repack before installing.

Notes:
- I highly recommend you use Mod Organizer 2 for installation. While it is theoretically possible to install by dragging the gamedata folder into Anomaly's directory and overwriting the files, I wouldn't recommend that since I haven't tested that method and it basically makes the changes permanent.
- It seems the FNX sight shares it's red dot with the C-MORE, though I don't suppose this causes much of an issue.
- If you're worried about the graphical discrepancy the the red dot may cause, or are just dissatisfied with the game's other holographic sights like I am, don't worry. I'm working on retexturing the other sight's reticles and will likely upload that as well when I'm satisfied with it.
Cool textures, I like them.
Vanilla red dot and collimators at all look too thick. Glad you fixed this issue!
Hi friend. excellent work, but I'm afraid that the new textures appear broken in DX8, and I'm still not sure if the same happens in DX9
I also found that the weapon position in 3rd person view appears very misaligned below the NPC's hand, but it's also possible that this has been going on for a long time and I never noticed, since your plugin doesn't touch these settings. Repositioning the weapon, it would be great to be able to fix this problem, other than that great job with this plugin! keep it up!
I'm afraid these are likely problems on your end. Like you said, my addon doesn't tamper with weapon positions.
But what puzzles me more is the DX8 issue. I play exclusively on DX8 and never encountered such an issue over the several days this project took, so I'm not sure what could be causing it...
I'd love to help, but this seems to be beyond me. Maybe try reinstalling? Beyond that, I don't know what could be wrong.
Greetings. I understand, so if you are also using DX8 and you don't experience these problems with textures, your plugin is fine, it must be a compatibility issue with some other plugin. I installed your plugin at the bottom of my list, but I still have these problems.
P.S. I found out that apparently the add-on Pretty Guns Pack add-on
Moddb.com
it also edits files of this weapon, so that must be the problem, there is nothing wrong with your complement, anyway thank you very much for answering, and sorry for the inconvenience, greetings :)
Don't worry about it. You haven't caused me any inconvenience, and I'm glad you found the problem.
I probably should have considered such an issue. I suppose the possibility slipped my mind.
Next time I'll try to notify of any likely incompatibilities.
I can confirm, the FNX-45 from pretty pistols pack is an updated model with a different UV layout.
Looks great ! I love the FNX-45 and was always disapointed by the way the red dot looks on it... I'm really looking forward to your changes on other holographic sights.
hey friend, nice mod, thanks for making it. i made some icons to go with it, if you dltxify this in the future please feel free to include them. or for those fnx-45 enjoyers that have photoshop you can just paste these directly over the fnxs on ui_icon_equipment.dds (minus the black upper right hand region of course) i also included an edit of the sk1 main texture -- the purple rim around the hammer got me all in my ocd. cheers!

Is there some unmentioned mod requirement that this mod pulls from for the sight dot? Because I'm not getting a dot at all. Just an empty window. Also removes the dot from the C-more, as you mentioned they are linked.
Playing on 1.5.2, and DX11, if that impacts anything. Not using any mods that affect the 3D sights, other than the ACOG, AUG, and G36, making them 2D sights instead.
Update soon?
