Multiplayer now supported. Settings are shared.
Setup
Assign a key to toggle the flashlight in your controls menu right at the bottom of "customise controls".
Under options, you can select Flashlight and customise it. Options take affect next time it switches on.
Known Issues
There is some jitter in the changing of location and orientation of the spotlight. Using the target pointer of lights doesn't solve
the jitter and is not suitable anyway as the light should emit from the actor's "shoulder". I'm not sure this will ever be fixed or
can even be fixed given the way ZDoom updates actors. You can stop it right now by turning off rendering interpolation off but then
you only get 35 FPS. Suggestions very welcome.
Hello, Could you (in a future version) make it run in Zandronum?
zandronum needs the spotlights actors so no
Nice. Would be cool if it alerts the monsters.
Just added a little "click" sound on turning on/off.

Hello, why, when I turn on the flashlight, it illuminates everything around, and not directly, as in the screenshots?
I have the same problem
Well, that's weird. What source port are you using? (It should work fine with GZDoom).
I am using gzdoom version 3 7 2
Check other mods you have installed, chances are one of them is causing conflict with this one. Additionally, check your video settings.
Which render mode are you using? For me, "hardware accelerated" works.
thank god now i can use lights because for some reason third person doom mod breaks lights for some reason
I agree, having a flashlight that alerts enemys without needing brutal doom would be nice

flashlight++ by generic_name_guy seems to be similar to this mod although flaslight++ has more customization (inclusing the option to make the flashlight alert enemies)
