[Eng] Stalker Anomaly Radio Revamp aims to give a breath of fresh air to the default Stalker Anomaly radio.
This mod both significantly expands on the old radio and keeps its general feel by adding over 200 NEW tracks from authors like Molchat Doma, Viktor Tsoy, folk/war music, Peremotka, Durnoy Vkus, Chernikovskaya Hata, and many others.
The ZONE.FM channel plays songs that best-fit the feel and aesthetic of Stalker, while the CHPR 101.4 FM channel is significantly more expansive in its genres, types of music, and taste, similar to the more "out there" songs from the original radio. So, you can tune in to whichever station you feel better suits your experience.

You can install this mod through Mod Organizer 2. The following instructions are only for manual installation of the mod
1. Download and unpack Stalker_Anomaly_Radio_Revamp.zip to a folder.
2. Open your Anomaly directory. Go to Anomaly > gamedata.
3. Drag the sounds folder from where you unpacked Stalker_Anomaly_Radio_Revamp.zip to Anomaly > gamedata
4. All done! You will now hear the new tracks in-game. Enjoy!

[GAMMA] To make this mod work for Gamma, disable mod #5 - "Anomaly Radio Extended" and #12 "PDA Radio Extended"
in MO2, after installing Stalker Anomaly Radio Revamp to Anomaly's folder as shown above or through
Mod Organizer 2. Anomaly Radio Extended can be found under the 1 - Audio tab. Just uncheck the box,
and Stalker Anomaly Radio Revamp will be used by Gamma instead.
If you want to save about a gigabyte of space,
delete the Anomaly Radio Extended folder at C:\Gamma\mods.

Update 1/29/2024 - It came to my attention that, due to a discrepancy in the sampling rate thanks to Audacity, 23 of the tracks were not being played on the radio. I went back and ensured that all of the project and default sampling rates were in line for those tracks, and they should now be working in-game.

No, you can install this on an ongoing save at any point. As far as I know, there should not be any conflicts with other non-radio mods.

Hi, this mod does actually remove some songs from the original Anomaly Radio- specifically ones that I felt were so-so, did not fit in well, or were just straight up garbage (Angry Cockroaches, Mary Had a Little Lamb, A Hero Comes Home, etc.). However, many songs like Bi-2 - Zazhigat, Firelake - Dirge for the Planet, Firelake - Live to Forget, Kino - Spokoynaya Noch, Aria - Bespechniy Angel, Bi-2 - My-Rock-n’-Roll, Lube - Tam za Tumanami, etc., were left in.

Hey there, you can easily edit what songs are in the channels by manually adding or removing files in Anomaly\gamedata\sounds\radio\_channel_1 or _channel_2.
1 - Zonefm, 2 - CHPR. Zonefm is what plays on in-game radios like the one in 100 Rads Bar.

[The Audacity UI has changed; project sampling rate is now found under Audio Setup -> Audio Settings
If you want to remove a song, just delete its respective file. As a note, Anomaly prioritizes files in its directory over its "packed" files. This means that if you delete, for example, track_5 from my mod, the radio should play Anomaly's original track_5. So, if you delete one of my files that overwrites one of Anomaly's songs, then Anomaly's old song will play instead.
If you want to switch songs between stations, just rename the song to fit anywhere in the other playlist and drag it over. Be sure to rename it as "track_[number]", otherwise it will not play. The order of songs does not matter for the radio channels.
I have not implemented a playlist in this mod, only songs for the channels, but I will likely look into creating playlists in the future. If you want to take a crack at this yourself, you can take a look at how this addon Moddb.com implements playlists.
Basically, you will have a sounds file and a config file.
The sounds folder will look like this: gamedata\sounds\radio\_playlist_[number]\[tracks]. Tracks should be OGG files like for the radio but can be named with Latin characters and with underscores to substitute for spaces. I believe songs will appear in alphabetical order in the in-game playlist, regardless of their order in the playlist file.
Config will be gamedata\configs\plugins\[mod name].ltx . This will tell Anomaly how many playlists you have. There are more detailed instructions in the mod's ltx file, just open it up in notepad.
You can create playlists of your own alongside my mod with no conflict, so long as my mod does not have playlists of its own.

Good day! When I load a save, I have to turn on the radio every time, is there a console command or a fix so that the radio always plays? Thank you!
Hi, I am sorry for not replying sooner. I didn't find anything regarding console commands. The closest fix I could think of is to go into key binds and bind two keys- one should turn on the radio, the other key should switch stations. This lets you quickly and easily turn the radio on without having to bring up your PDA.
For example, I bound my Z key to turn my radio on and my right alt key to switch channels.

That's very strange. Do you happen to know if the songs playing are from my mod? Do you have any other possibly conflicting mods installed? Are you playing GAMMA? I'm not sure why only three tracks would be playing. You should check to verify that all the .ogg files and the sound file are properly installed.
If you are hearing a few songs more than others, that is probably just coincidental. Although, it sounds like your issue is that only three music tracks ever play.

Я прожил у вас примерно полгод- вы очень добрые и теплые люди, даже если в магазине, на автобусе, или на внешности это не сразу видно. Зато, ваши улыбки всегда настоящие, не как у нас. Я очень скучаю по друзьям и подругам, но общаюсь с ними часто. Обязательно скоро опять приеду к вам в гости!
Песни из этой жанры начал слушать три года назад, и они мне очень понравились. Подумал, что они хорошо подходят к Сталкеру и сделал вот это добавление.
