Each shield was different. No shield really looked the same, because each Hoplite painted his own design. Rome 2 reflects this. The Spartans didn't all have the same symbols. However, this symbol was seen on the shields of Hoplites.

i thought it was a lambdas, but you seem well informed so i guess your right
it is, but lambdas is also the equivelant to the letter L within the greek alphabet^^. The more you know.

That is not an A. That is the Greek letter S. Some Spartans put those on there shields. S for Spartans.

lol, RTW.exe is the executable file... it makes you run the game. Without that file your game is useless.....
