it's because people loves using detectors and mostly because who plays anomaly didn't plays Shadow of Chernobyl .. So , yeah.

I like both but I remember when I was younger you could sit in the tunnels under the Agroprom Research Institute, where the electro anomaly would go back and forth down the hallway.

Anyways I would let the game chill for an hour and come back to like 10+ artefacts!

Auh those were the days.

I am curious to see how this will play out in anomaly.

Почти все моды юзают систему артов из ЧН и ЗП, некоторые ее даже в ТЧ переносят, но имхо ТЧ-шная система артов по своему хороша, искать арты как грибник по всей локации, а не в определенной точке в виде большой аномалии как в ЧН-ЗП, детекторы конечно превращаются из необходимой вещи в мусор, но в ТЧ никаких детекторов поэтому и не было )

Тут бы еще неплохо бы сделать чтоб арты не только в больших аномалиях, а как-то динамично по локе после выброса респавнились бы, вроде многие моды на ТЧ так делали, а вообще эти обе системы из ТЧ и ЧН-ЗП можно и объединить, чтобы одни арты как в ТЧ спавнились по локе и не требовали детектора, а другие были невидимые и спавнились в аномалиях.

Вот что еще мне нравилось в ТЧ, это пояс артефактов в котором кол-во слотов не зависит от костюма, и что в модах на ТЧ этот пояс обычно увеличивается до 10-20 слотов, и статы артов может и более простые но для геймплея более полезные, один защищает от пуль там, второй от мутантов, третий выводит радиацию от других артов, вместе с увеличенным слотом он позволяет комбинировать арты перекрывая недостатки одних артов другим, а уникальные арты без дебафов реально ощущаются уникальными, в Аномалии большинство артов не привлекательные по эффектам, плюс мелкий слот приводит к тому что куча артов тупо хлам на продажу, в то время как в ТЧ много крутых артов которые реально жалко продавать, а мусорные арты в аномалии без эффектов вообще самая унылая вещь что я видел в модах на сталкер.

Your mod is the best, finally someone is working in this direction. I made a list of how I think the ideal artifacts should be implemented.

Most of all anomaly lacks MOD for a good artifact system like in the best mods on SoC (nls7,lost alpha,prosectors) it would make the game much more interesting.
How a cool artifact system should look like
1. All artifacts are visible, but they are hard to spot, there is no glow and the size can be small.
2. Artifacts can spawn in any anomalies of their type. Anomalous fields give a better chance of finding an artifact because it is easier to find the right anomaly there.
3. Artifacts have a scatter of characteristics, for example, Bengal can give +1 endurance or +2 (so with all parameters as positive and negative, random).
4. artifacts can be combined and craft unique versions (hypermodifications) if you have the right recipe (which can be rare) and equipment to buy from scientists.
5. When picking up an artifact, we get the damage of the type of artifact (for example, Bengal hits with electricity, it will require a good defense if we like artifacts).
6. Detectors get the ability to pull artifacts from anomalies (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viwh0VTw3TQ) the better the detector, the better it pulls artifacts from anomalies, the artifacts themselves are passively attracted to anomalies.

I hope someone can realize it

I think this is a great addon!

However, I think it may be a good decision to remove the light effects around the artifacts for the "no lights" option.

The light is removed but the glowing effects around the artifact are not, which are just as if not more visible than the light itself.

I've always wanted to see a return to form in artifact hunting, with detectors playing a supportive role like you say, but my issue with the idea is that most, if not almost all, of the artifacts are simply too big. It doesn't make sense for stalkers to use multiple artifacts when they're the size of a human head, and it makes having them all be visible problematic - I'm not sure how compatibility with other addons that change artifact meshes and textures would work, but it'd be nice to see artifacts made smaller so that detectors are still necessary. A lot of artefacts are actually not that big, and if they're not bouncing (gravitational ones do that usually), they are hard to notice in grass. And when it's dark too.

Afaik, changing artefact models makes addon incompatible with other artefact addons due to the need of pinpointing "bones" of the model in .ltx file. Still, I think it might be made compatible, but I don't have any experience with models so will pass on that.

I hope this addon can at least somewhat satisfy your needs.
