This is a cheat, not a standard patch. Failing the first mission (hunting in Zaton) will normally disable the rest of the RTTN story. With this cheat script, Beard will give you the next mission even if you failed the first mission or if the hunter died.
installation: merge the gamedata folder in the zip with gamedata in the rttn folder. Next time you load the game, beard will have a new dialog unlocked.

Hi,
Thanks for this. I had similar problem. Due to random spawning I had to take down some zombies as well at the Chimera. Then was told did not do enough.
Luckily had saved just before mission started. But zombies still there so took 3 or 4 goes to get through it.
Yep, had the same issue. Took me about 3 tries, good that I also saved before the fight.

All I did was go there before talking to the guy to go bowling. Sneaked in there, took down all the Zombies and 2 meow meows.
Returned, talked to him and done it properly, much easier since he was focusing on the Chimera, instead of long range shotgun combat.
Excellent, thanks. I needed this as I'd previously pounded a chimera with a shotgun but it still said I did not do enough / failed mission. Would be nice to see this added to the official mod in my opinion. Gonna start a new game with this addon. Thanks again.
This is an official addon ;).
I can't edit the character logic with existing save files for compatibility reasons, that's why I made this dialog workaround.
This works with existing saves
Perhaps a stupid question, but where does this Quest-line start?
follow yellow quests to Zaton
New game?
Well, I guess I don't need it. If you see the danger, *always* aim for the HEAD.
