This is a reupload of Shotgun Variety 2 that contains the correct files.
This is an update for my Shotgun Variety addon, ported to Beta 3.0. This time with the correct files.
UPDATE v2.1: Slightly tweaked some of the rounds for more balanced gameplay. For maximum compatibility added all the new ammo types to Hunter in the Garbage. He is now the only vendor that will sell these shells. However, they can still be found on dead stalkers and in random caches.
Ok, so what does this mod do? It changes the old and damaged ammo types into new ammo and slightly modifies the normal ammo to more closely reflect their real world values.
So what's been changed?
Buckshot has been renamed #00 Buckshot and had their damage modified.
Old Buckshot has been changed to #4 Buckshot
Damaged Buckshot has been changed to Birdshot which fires a small, very low damage cloud of pellets. Cheap and only really useful against small weak mutants such as Rats and Crow.
Darts have had their values changed to reflect similar RL rounds.
Old Darts have been changed to Bolo Rounds. Bolo Rounds are two solid projectiles connected by a steel wire. While these are mostly a novelty round the projectiles have decent armor penetration.
Damaged Darts have been changed to Flechette Rounds. These rounds fire a small group of hardened tungsten "spears" capable of shredding even the most hardened body armor.
Slugs remain mostly unchanged.
Old Slugs have been changed to Dragon's Breath rounds. Another "novelty" round they fire several shards of magnesium and burn at temperatures of over 2,000 degrees. Easily capable of incinerating a living target trapped inside an Exosuit.
Damaged Slugs have been changed to #000 Buckshot. An improved version of #00 Buckshot featuring slightly higher armor penetration and damage at the cost of less pellets fired per shot.
Damage, weight, spread and pellet count have been modified from the original mod to be more balanced for Beta 3.0. NPCs will spawn with the "new" ammo and will use it against you. Traders will sell them at high enough goodwill. At this point in time, I have no desire to continue development on this. I might pick it up later on to balance it and fine tune it more but right now I want to actually play the game instead of making mods for it. :)

Quick question. Since the drop of the new update, does the current iteration of your mod still work? I'm in the process of cleaning out my installed mods since the game crashes on start.
I just updated it so it works with the latest update. Plus a few new changes I've been meaning to work on.

And one last tidbit. Do you happen to know which file assigns player armor and NPC models. Been trying a hand in changing up what the armor looks like on the player, but to no avail. Them NPC Clear Sky medium suits with backpacks look dope.

Great mod man, cant do no shotgun boom boom without this mod now, can you update it to the latest patch? If you can merge with true barrett and mp7 addon, it would make my day.
Do you have any plans on updating this mod for current version of Anomaly? As of 1.5.0 Update 4 Hotfix 8, installing it causes the game to crash on start up.

Is this compatible with BaS? (well it is but i mean the textures keep glitching, is there a way of fixing that?)
