Works as intended. At first I was worried I would have to wait until I die to see if I've found shelter or not, but it turns out you get psy radiation if outside during an emission and if you get into cover the radiation stops so it works really well.

A great mod making the game even more immersive. No more hand holding warning about an emission is about to happen and to take cover. Now you will just hear that thunderous boom, and the siren starting up alerting you to take shelter. Though you might not get the message to know if you actually found working cover or not, usually you can find an area that makes sense that works as cover, or just find a place that the NPC's go to. You will also know when it's safe to exit once the NPC's start moving back out.

This file also works if you want to adjust the global weather specifications, since the Atmosfear option got removed from the menu.

In Truck Cemetery, there is one particular transport container that counts as cover and all the other identical containers do not.

I don't trust the game's cover system to work well enough to be able to trust on my instincts when it comes to emissions. It's just not intuitive. Often when I follow the marker to cover I'm like "really? this is good enough? I CAN SEE THE SKY FFS. CROWS ARE DROPPING AT MY FEET."
