Mars, 1996, you are a Xenoarchaeologist currently working on teleportation experimentation and the study of extra terrestrial life. The planet Mars has been colonized thanks to the aid of a recently discovered atmosphere stabilizing technology. It was just another day at the office until one of the testing facilities suffered a fatal miscalculation which tore open a portal to Hell. Forced to survive and seal the portal to The Netherworld you must fight through Lovecraftian monsters and an army of "strogg-like" militants to protect our dying Earth.
I test all of my single player maps with zDoom by default so that is the port I recommend, though GZ obviously works in that case and this wad also works with PRboom. (maps are Boom: Doom2 format) A friend is helping me with a crispy compatible version, but it is still a WIP.
No jumping, no crouching, no "mouselook" aka vertical aim. Unless you really want to I guess? Fast paced pushing combat intended to keep the player moving is implied. Each level forces the player to change up their play-style so keep your mind open and save often.
"Plutonic Holocaust" is a 4 level episode with a bonus deathmatch map. (map05)
Pretty standard practice in the mod community to include screenshots before most people will download something.

Also, just updated the wad fixed the music on map05 of "PlutDeath" and added more details to the description.
