it's pretty involved, but if you're familiar with blender then it basically comes down to extracting the .db files, following this guide (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-two-k/tutorials/basic-of-importing-and-exporting-stalker-ogf-files-using-blender) and then asking for help on the anomaly discord when the guide isn't very helpful.
Thanks for the quick reply, I tried messing around with that same guide but didn't have the time to go jump into it. Think I'll try my hand at it again sometime soon.
hm, maybe i'll make a revision to just remove it properly with a bit more urgency.
you can definitely eject the stripper clip this way on some guns, right? or is that a videogameism i've seen somewhere?
Definitely just videogamism. Because of the way that the clip loads, you really do have to pull it out like in-game. There are a handful of weapons where you can just charge the bolt and knock out the clip, but in this case that would cause damage and likely a jam. Regardless, this is preferable to the slow-*** reload currently in the game, and I personally would love to see edits to the rest of the clip-based weapons in the game with similar treatment. I love clip guns, but they just reload so pathetically slow in Anomaly. If you remade the reloads for them, I'd love you forever.
Kar98k can do this for example, Mosin cannot though. It really depends from gun to gun. SKS cannot do this as well, but don't let that bother you it's way better and smoother with this reload animation than what we had before.
This is amazing, how'd you manage to edit the animation file? Would love to make some tweaks to some weapons I've had problems with for ages.

Of course the Kar98k can, it's German. They think of everything. XD
If you did this for the Stricker, you're awesome.
if someone could edit that the gun doesnt recoil sideways when shot that would be cool
I second this.
