Description
A simple replacement mod for Brutal Doom to disable the on screen bullet hole effect. I didn't found an option to turn this off in game and this annoyed me a lot. Place the *.pk3 in the same folder as your brutal file and start run the *.bat file to start zandronum. Or edit the file accordingly to the program of your choice. Have fun. wildw1ng

Yo this actually helps with performance legit. Also compatible with any kind of Brutal Doom, even the old versions.
If you use PB and have Disable Screen Pain Effects off, the CVAR won't work, but the PB Screen Effects mutator takes in effect when that CVAR is set to off
Any chance to do a blood splatter removal one too? The 2 of them were just mean't to be together :p.
Like one that removes all of the blood decals within Brutal Doom?

Nah I mean the blood splatter or liquids that splash in your face. Like for example in the project Brutality options it has a setting for bullet holes and facial blood/liquid splatter to be turned off.
That would be pretty awesome. A small addon, but deals a **** ton of performance. This addon deserves a 10, but stupid MODDB won't let me rate it a 10.

Hm. I use your addon. I see it's just clear .png. Okey.
Now deleted holes, but fps still drops when taking damage from guns.
Nevermind.
