tl;dr: no "not usable below condition level: _%" for small repairs (gun oil, lubricants, sharpening stone) comes with two versions, full repair (original condition increase) and half repair (decreased condition increase for balance or something)
Pretty much made this redundant with my new weapon and armor repair kits addon, will no longer be updating this.
What?
This is just a small tweak that removes conditional requirements ("not usable below condition level: _%") from sharpening stones and the various oil/lubricant/solvents for guns. This does not apply to anything outfit or armor related.
Why?
I generally don't use any of the repair systems in Anomaly, I only ever repair items at a technician so I usually ignore anything repair related. With this, it at least gives some personal usage value to the items as well as making things a little bit easier and more affordable for the repair-ly challenged (me). Additionally, it doesn't make much sense to me that the condition of a gun would have any effect on the efficacy of something like a lubricant, or in the case of knives, why the quality of a blade would have any effect on the efficacy of a sharpening stone.
B-but oil for a nearly broken gun isn't gonna help NEARLY as much as oil for a brand new gun!
Probably true yeah, as such there's two versions available to sort of compensate. Full Repair keeps the original added conditions intact which may be a bit cheesier than the latter version. Half Repair (inaccurate name) changes the added conditions to mostly half less than half, so it's not too easy.
"Half" Repair Changes
Three-piece sharpening stone set: 20% -> 8%
Brunox Gun Care: 5% -> 2%
"Dvojka" gun oil and cleaning solvent: 8% -> 4%
"Rusak" gun oil: 3% -> 1%
Hoppe's "No. 9" cleaning solvent: 7% -> 2%
Installation
In the main download there's two .zip files, one for full and one for half. Extract whichever .zip version you want to wherever and then install normally through MO2.
Compatibility and other tidbits
It'll probably conflict with anything that changes the repair system, specifically anything that changes items_repair.ltx.
I tried for 3 hours to find a way to remove the entire "not usable below condition level: _%" line from the changed items but I couldn't do it. If anyone can help me figure that out, it'd be appreciated.

i highly recommend weapon part overhaul addon if you dont use the repair sistem for weapons at least, is way more simple and less junkyard than anomaly one, plus adds more fun to starting playthroughs
So I can fix a broken grenade launcher with superglue? Not very immersive tbh.
i really like this idea but i think there needs to be some minimum condition anyway, something thats old can still be lubed but anything thats rusty will not really work so i think 0% is too low
Yeah, I set more expensive repair items to be 50%, cheaper ones to 60, 70 etc.
.LTX files are easy enough to edit. Sharpening stones, rasps, pistol cleaning kits etc. don't "wear out" after a few uses.
Extract all of the files yourself or just edit the ones from this (and other) mod(s).
