Makes sense. How the hell does some faction know you've done a good deed for an enemy faction. Telepathy?

At least half of the players impact and interactions in Anomaly run on telepathy. I would get used to it at this point.

It's the little things that annoy.

I would like not to delete this function, but to understand how it works. Can you explain?

When you do a mission for a faction's enemy, there is a chance for you to lose goodwill with that faction.

It also seems to depend on the nature of the mission itself.

Lads, it's easy to modify.

Step 1: Go to gamedata/script/xr_effects.script

Step 2 : Locate "local rnd_enemy = game_relations.get_random_enemy_faction(community)" (for me it's line 3942)

Step 3 : Replace it with "local rnd_enemy = nil -- game_relations.get_random_enemy_faction(community)"

Step 4 : Save and enjoy

Just gonna point out that I can't find the base script in the 1.5.1 files to edit for this fix so I'm unsure where to find xr_effects.script that won't instantly crash anomaly when you complete a quest.

in 1.5.1 all game files have packed-in version, and to modify them you need to unpack them and add to gamedata. And it worked out for me just fine. here's deal: go in "tool" folder, use converter, copy xr_effects from _unpacked to gamedata/scritps and edit it, like Pezzo1 said. Got no crash after mission for Mercs, while I was CS
