all i had to do was use the music that ive owned in mp3 format convert them to .ogg then go to your mod under playlist_1 remove the songs you had then add my own and it works when i pull the radio up in the pda
i know you already did it but for the record for you or anyone else cause i see this question all the time and when i tried doing it on my own most people weren't very clear, you don't gotta delete the old songs. just name the songs appropriately, and don't use illegal characters (such as spaces, i.e. use an underscore _ if you need too)
also adding music to the in game radio works the exact same way. Just find the radio folder or extract it with the dbtools, and then find sounds/radio/channel_1 and channel_2 and throw your music in and name it appropriately, for the actual radio it needs to be track_x where x is the number
if its the PDA music player then just name it what you want.
I think there is a specific frequency its supposed to be.. but I'm not certain on that.
also thank you Sosombo :p adding some of these songs to my game right now.
Hello, I tried to convert some .OGG music, but a lot of it will not be played by the in-game player. This situation often occurs with some new music released in recent years, or some music with higher sound quality. Is it required by the game? Does it need to comply with a certain conversion rate or channel restriction to play?

can you have more than 5 songs in a playlists? is it possible to add my own music after converting them to .ogg file
Yes, it is quite possible, and even the developers of «Anomaly» added instructions in the game files.
I did something similar myself.
P.S.: You can also create your own playlists there.
thanks for the info i've already went ahead and done it using your mod thanks man
i converted songs using two programs, audacity and SDK 0.7, but before you start adding your own music, check out the guide, because it won't work
