Hey. For meaningful improvements I'd suggest having a good look at the very laud and annoying breathing sounds that appear whenever something is seriously hurting, as well as the infuriating bong-smoking death coughs when your health is low. I don't think those things should dissapear entirely, but they could use subtlety.

Ну пожалуйста. А что думаешь про хитмаркеры? А если еще с MCM впихать (по типу какого цвета, производить звук или нет и т.п.), вообще будет конфетка.

MCM это Mod Configurator Menu. Проще говоря, в меню игры появляется кнопка для настройки некоторых модов (но не все имеют поддержку MCM).

Кто знает. Я сам в моддинге... ну не знаю как сказать, максимум что могу - это менять параметры в файлах ltx, script, звуки и т.п.

While its nice and quiet I still find the inventory sound effect specifically to be too... sharp. I open my constantly, not really sure why, but something that sharp would get super repetitive in my opinion.

Personally the best ive found so far is from the Jarhead pack, that JSRS alternative? Its a rather dull, clothy sound. Not too short, but it's something easy to hear but not... memorize.

A similar issue comes from a lot of the Misery era sound effects. Most are sharper than needed, say the Brunox gun spray? Something as simple as an aeresol spray is oddly loud and piercing despite being something you will have to use often.

However I do like your jumping and landing sounds more. I downloaded the EFT pack for that myself and found the jumping sound to be odd. Like someone stomping their feet or something, when the most I can imagine it should like would simply be your gear or equipment jerking from the jump. Now landing should certainly be loud given its everything jarring to a halt and your boots slapping the ground full force.

Either way, just food for thought. Most people dont offer detailed opinions on here ive noticed. Not that mine are usually very welcome but I hope its useful at least.

Great work. Always good to have better sounds and more options. Ill be sure to check up on the rest of your work as well.

Hey. Film director here, I work with nuanced sound design quite a lot. Thought I'd drop you a little 'did you know' for fun as a way of support.

Firstly, really nice sound selection - good job. I do agree with KHAutomat though: with actions as frequent as opening and closing of the inventory or even moving items, you want them to be very minimal and short as to never overpower with their presence.

With something like Metro Exodus, o/c inventory is a longer action with animation and done less frequently - longer sound makes sense. With Anomaly, it's instantaneous and done very frequently due to the nature of the game systems and the sound has to be too.

Your inventory o/c sound is very neat (really is), but quite a bit too long- you can open and close inventory and never hear the closing sample as the opening sample is still playing. It's also a little too sharp on the frequency register with the metallic 'chainy' sounds. Hearing that clicking and clacking all the time as you farm dead bodies or readjust your gear will drive you mad.

It's about length, volume, texture and frequency.

A quick and dirty trick if you want to play around and have some fun creatively, would be to open Audacity or similar audio editor and edit that sound a bit - it's already a good starting point.
Firstly, I'd shorten it by a good 70% by cutting and stitching it in few places, trimming some of the fat. You could apply short crossfades on the cuts to smoothen if necessary. Once that's done, look at the frequency register of the whole sample and take off a bit of the sharp top on the high frequencies - those metallic chainy sounds. I'd aim to have a little tingle of that clacky metal texture left but shortened and muffled, as if you're trying to be stealthy.

I installed your new aim sounds + its patch but I noticed that there was no sound for raising/lowing the weapon. I changed the patch's script file a bit and now it seems to be working for me. I also changed the volumes of the sounds a bit because they were kind of loud.
