Description

This is a standalone version of NCHUD v1.22 that has a patch modified into the main hud for Project Brutality. You just need any version of Project Brutality to run this, but that should be self explanatory. Just run the Main HUD file after PB. This will only work with GZDoom 1.8.7+. Now Includes a Readme containing more info.

The weapon ammo counters obscure the far right side of the screen, which I don't like.

As said down below, if you don't like the weapon ammo counters, you can turn it off by typing nchud_toggleammo 0 in the console.

Just found how, to enable(or disable) the ammo count.
Type in the console: nchud_toggleammo 1 or 0
to set it true or false.

hi man i used to use this hud but now i'm more of a fan of hxrtc hud however i think this would look better if you set total ammo counters to upper right but horizontally another nice touch would be to set kills and secrets counter to upper left and you'll have a more well distributed hud elementes imo

Do you need the console commands to make the ammo counters and the map progress appear? Also I read that this hud has a menu disabled but can be re-enabled by deleting blocks in the menu def text. What are these blocks that he is talking about, are they the 2 spaces between the lines?

nchud_toggleammo (ammo count)
nchud_toggletally (Map Progress)
nchud_oldbarsystem (the health and armor bars)

Those are the commands that i know so far you can use, because as you said, there was a menu previously, but was removed.

delete "//" or "/*" and "*/" (i dont remember) before/after "OptionMenu" in menudef.txt and you will see "nchud options" in "hud options"

//OptionMenu -> OptionMenu

/*OptionMenu OptionMenu
... -> ...
*/ (end)

i don't know if that setting has anything to do with the settings on this hud, all this changes is the ammo display & ammo counter

It doesn't show the number of prox mines remaining, otherwise this would be the perfect HUD.
