An alternative to the visor integrated in the v21 version of Brutal DOOM, reacts to the level of armor, ammunition, grenades etc. It works correctly in any port derived from the ZDOOM.
Description:
Basically a HUD very inspired by the UDV, it seems simple but has many functions, this is proof that the simple is usually more advanced than we see, the HUD reacts to the level of armor as the UDV, inventory support for items usable as in Brutal DOOM Mutators, smooth Mugshots with more frames for better visualization, detect your quantity of grenades, C4s from Tomtefar Extension, posture indicators, the hud will know if you are standing or not, this is an alternative to the wildweasel doomguy visor included in the
v21 version of Brutal DOOM.

The HUD is affected according to your level of armor, if it is less than 10 it will be darkened, more than 10 is normal and more than 150 will see the edges in blue.
The HUD has support of widescreen resolutions, which are 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 and 17:10, the hud auto detects this resolution to be able to see correctly.
Now with a mugshots with smooth animations, the hud will also show you your stats like the Complex DOOM hud and even see the time of the game.
With a new option to disable the statistics feature, this is for users who see this as something that spoils some surprises in the maps.
3 versions of the same HUD to select, Type 1, Type 2 so check your HUD settings, and new Weapon Icon Detection.
Indicators of powerups to be able to know how much you will finish your powerup, also indicators of resistance and oxygen remaining.
Detect your level of ammunition, your slots and grenades, which are disappearing from the hud when you do not have the same as the C4 of Tomtefars Extension.

I had planned to integrate this into my Brutal Doom Mutators, but then I decided to improve it and release it separately.
I do not know how I did it, but it looks good, as if I had replicated and compacted the UDV, it's just my perspective.

It should work in any resolution, as long as they are (4:3) and (16:9).

The mod Smooth Doom added some additional frames for the mugshots. I cleaned them up a while ago and had them included in my mod, but they are no longer used. Feel free to use them!

Thank you, I had seen it in Smooth DOOM, but I did not see how to export it, although this would improve the mugshot of the Doomguy.
I think the green medkit (which stays forever despite your actual health status) is a bit wasted. I think the mugshot would look good in the UAC PIP up top and putting the inventory on the bottom left would look good.
With respect to the green kit, it is only an indicator of berserk since most of the time we have it without even knowing it, the mugshot is already there but not in the UAC PIP, what he wants is to see the inventory is seen without having that the mugshot disappear.
I like it without the crappy doomguy face.

It's not a skin, it's just a weapon that I believe for bdv21

It is true the CMG is very good, but that is the first test version, here is the second test version that I had released some time ago if you want to try.

In this solve many problems and add 2 new functions, try the secondary fire button or the double wielding and you will see how changed.
I'm planning to make this weapon have a minor chanse, a minor occurrence in the smg preset to balance the arsenal.

This is just a HUD, I can not since that's the job of Sergeant Mark IV, you'll have to wait for him to launch the pack of voices.

the addon looks nice but what exactly you need to be able to play and does this have all new version of bd weapons? also new weapons?
2 questions:
1. Does this work WITHOUT BDv21?
2. Does it work on top of BDv21 if I preferred your visor over SergeantMarkIV's ?
1) It does not work if it is not with Brutal DOOM v21.
2) It is only for the v21 version of Brutal DOOM, so it should work without any problem.
Anything you can do to help compatibility with a 16:10 screen ratio? I dont see the edges of the visor like in your screenshots... :( And what is the purpose of the medkit icon in the lower right?
Also is there any way to make the default BDv21 HUD larger? Its sooo tiny!
That would be very helpful, the medikit icon is actually an indicator of berserk as this reacts to acquire one but should make it a little smaller icon, in terms of enlarging the hud it will take a long time and would have to re-adjust the icons.
Would be less confusing if you used the actual berzerk sprite...

First, thank you for your amazing mods ! But i have a problem with the HUD, it doesn't scale, it stay 4:3 and i don't see the edges of the visor. Any clue ?
only works in resolutions of (4:3) and (16:9)
I manage to fix the problem i had. My resolution was 16:9 and i still couldn't see the edges of the visor.
After some investigations i've found that by renaming the file "PSCRNAWS2" to something shorter (the file and in the sbarinfo.txt) it seems to work well. I remember reading something about the length of files names in decorate scripts...

Only adjustments, bug fixes, reduced the size of the berserk indicator and provide compatibility with Beyond Hell and Earth adapted to BDv21.
Leave the smooth mugshot in a separate .pk3 since I could not stand the complaints that other mugshots were not displayed correctly.

Take a look at this Imgur.com and see how the new overlay looks, improvements, stance indicators (still, crouching and swimming), widescreen resolutions compatibility (16:9, 16:10 and 17:10) and Smooth Mugshots for Male and Female Doomer.
I thank SchrdingCat for helping me with 16:9 resolutions compatibility and mryayayify for the new stance indicators graphics.
For now only a couple of adjustments are missing and then I'll launch it.
Things like level stats, weapon inventory and time should be optional, I find very stressful HUDs that have too much stuff on screen.
I agree. I always hated level stats. Spoiles some surprises sometimes.

How do I use the Doom-4 style HUD? I see its in the pk3, but the only 3 options I have are normal visor, visor w/ mouth piece, and no visor?
Use the third option, which is the Doom 4 styled visor.
