This is a replacement for the MP7 model for Anomaly 1.5.1 only.

This is a replacement for the Heckler & Koch MP7 model.
This will replace the models, textures, and Inventory Icons.
I included a patch if you are using POSITION AND VIEW V2.1 RELEASE
I also included an option to NOT use the new inventory icons, there is a patch for both.
while I was at it I edited 3rd person shell ejection, fire point, position and orientation.
Update 09-07-21: I have added edited configuration files as an option to have the buttstock extended for all configurations of the MP7 (mp7+eot, MP7+cmore, etc)
Installation: Copy and paste into gamedata folder, overwrite files if asked. If you are using position and view 2.1, use the supplied patch.
Compatibility: Compatible with anything that does not also edit the files included in this archive, or other files required by the MP7, such as animation .omf files.
Otherwise, a merge will need to be done.

Why not return it back to its' native 4.6x30 ammo?
Gun with its own caliber is not so good... There's already P90 and nobody plays it because it's rare and ammo are underused and are thus scarce
That would require editing a lot of additional files and creating a billion conflicts that would need patches. It is really pointless to add a new type of ammo for a single gun. Same reason .50 BMG is not being used for the M82.
Not true. 4.6 is already in ammo config file it was never removed fully from anomaly.. all it needs to be is injected to traders with the script that already exists - same script you use for exoseva. And work out the proper ballistics numbers for gun config, which I guess would be somewhat close to 5.7
And parts.ltx and death_generic.ltx, unless you don't care about consistency at all, but then why do you care about ammo type.
I left it as it was to maximize compatibility. If anomaly devs or other modders want to change it to 4.6x30, they can.
Pretty much the same reason I went with my own icons on an icon sheet. so it wouldn't conflict with other mods/addons ui_icon_equipment.dds

How about change it to the P90's 5.7 mm? It will make 5.7 mm more useful in the game, and it just seems more fitting that the MP7 would use 5.7 mm instead of 9 mm, as the 4.6 mm that the real world MP7 uses is functionally similar to the 5.7 mm that the P90 uses. Both cartridges are bottlenecked high velocity armour piercing rounds, whereas 9 mm is a rimless low velocity anti-personnel round.
It´s also a cool idea because some people think it´s both doable and a nice idea irl, as 4.6 never took off as much as HK wanted while 5.7 was more successful. I can totally see MP7s converted to 5.7 more than to 9mm
Is there a chance you could replace the crappy looking WW2 guns and the M24?
As far I know these models were taken from Misery and their quality is rather questionable..

i'm trying to merge this with "Machine Pistols and Sawed-offs in Sidearm Slot" but the bullets aren't lining up with the iron sights when i ADS. i tried adjusting fire_point to match your values but that didn't seem to be the issue. any ideas how to match the sights to the bullet?
you should just be able to copy over the aiming position values

you can also tweak them to your liking by launching in debug, once in game press F7 and using the weapon hud editor.

yes, it is possible. I would have to edit the hud models again. I might do this eventually, probably as an optional.

Would be amazing to have a variant of this with a PEQ15 laser and an alt ADS like some of the B&S guns, so you can use it for CQB and mid-range.
How to make it compatible with BaS FOV = 70? It looks really weird with BaS and its FOV
adjust the hud positioning in debug mode with weapon hud editor.
copy your new values over to the mp7 config file.
Hope we get an update for this for 1.5.2 and Gamma/EFP.
pretty sure this works for 1.5.2 as is, also gamma was already using this, last I noticed. I don't follow gamma much.
