hmmm, that's a little odd, there's nothing modded on them. Are you playing Soulstorm or Dark Crusade? They need to be Soulstorm.

That's odd. There shouldn't be anything stopping you on the map end of things. It might be an Apoc issue, They are big maps and I do still get the occasional crash with Apoc too. Deamons are particularly bad for that.
Hello, im having some crashes as well. Three crashes so far two of them mid game & one early game. I don't know how to diagnose the problem but I suspect Its indeed the apocalypse mod. The maps are gorgeous though, thank you. ^.^
Sadly Apoc scripts tax Dawn of War's engine quite a lot. it wasn't designed with so much heavy scripting in mind. I imagine that such large maps exacerbate that problem. It's kinda sad because being an engine limitation means that no PC no matter how high spec can really overcome it. We simply need to find a balance between grand and manageable.

I'm loving the look of these maps so far, and I feel like they're made with Ultimate Apocalypse in mind, however when I zoom out at all the fog completely takes over the screen, entirely unlike the screenshots where there's almost no fog at all. Is this intentional? Is there some kind of fix?
I did need to turn down the fog in order to take some of those screenshots, sorry mate. You could turn them down if you have the map editor though. do you know how or need a hand with that?
I have tried installing but none of the maps seem to actually pop up.
Is this because I do not use any other mods such as Ultimate Apocalypse?
Or am I just pasting them in the wrong files...
Did you install them to
Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War Soulstorm\DXP2\Data\Scenarios\mp
?
If so there's no reason they shouldn't show.

Yeah, I'm sorry for that. happens to a couple of people. It's the sheer size of the maps combined with apocalypse's habit of crashing anyway. The good news is that I'm working on a bunch af smaller-big maps.
