This Addon only works with Half-Life MMOD. All models for the mp5 have been replaced with the half life HD pack M16, glows are also enabled for the gloves and iron sights.

What are you talking about? it already has a world and playermodel.
What I meant is that the mod doesn't work. The magazine worldmodel changes, but the MP5 stays as an MP5, in both worldmodel and viewmodel. I have not installed any other addons for MMod.
I don't think you installed it correctly i redownloaded everything and it works fine for me. The Models, Sound and Sprites folder files are suppose to go into
program files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life MMod/HL1MMod_addon also make sure that allow custom addon content is checked in your game options.
Could you do an alternate version with a 9mm mag, turning it into a Colt 9mm SMG of sorts? So its use of 9mm ammo makes sense, heh.
Newer liked M4 in HL1 as it was still using 9mm ammo what looks wired for me.
Colt did have 9mm AR-15s, incl. the M635 which the Marines use. (The HECU are a part of the Marines, right?) Makes you wonder why Gearbox didn't just go for one of those if they really wanted an M16-style rifle.
I grew up with the HD Pack, so it's a part of my HL1 nostalgia. At the same time, the M4 mag somehow carrying 9mm ammo IS weird. I already tried turning the orig. HD Pack M4 into a more proper 9mm by porting a mag from a CS 1.6 mod. Imma give this one a try, too.
Agree. But think they just wanted to add something new in the game, like new models, and did not care much if it's realistic or not. And have to admit that HL gameplay is so brilliant that you don't care what king of ammo used in M4 while playing.
But when I was collecting an HD pack for HL I was able to find a good looking MP5 with GL and NPC models using same gear.

If you don't mind me asking, which decompiler and compiler did you use for this?
Edit: Nvm. Flying with Gauss' Studio Model Decompiler 1.1 and Paranoia 2's StudioMDL (2018) seem to be best for MMod. Any viewmodels I created with other decompilers/compilers don't work well with MMod's glow models; the glowing handpad looked glitched in-game. Still looking into why that is. Just released an MMod port of Randy's Crowbar Mod on GB. :)
