A simple Reshade designed to make STALKER Anomaly looks more drammatic and similar to the tones of Metro series.
Hi, this is the first time ever I share something with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. community and I hope some of you appreciate it.
I've made this simple Reshades to fit more the style of Stalker by making the colors more desaturated and the tones similar to the Metro Style. I personally feel cooler to play this game with this settings since they really make it looks more drammatic. Let me know if you like this reshade (and if it works ^^)
Instruction are simple and inside the .rar you find all the solution to your problem/questions, btw I link everything below.
This reshade have letterbox by default but you can turn them off anytime by deselect BORDER from the option menu which is accessible by pressing HOME button
HOW TO INSTALL:
- Download the latest reshades version -> Link here RESHADE
- Once you have the reshade installer click on it and install them by searching the STALKER directory (select DX10+)
- Drag and drop the "bin" folder into the game's directory
- Press home (while in game or menu) and select the metro.ini from the drop down menu to load it.
- In game set night time to "brightest" configuration because it's the only way to get balanced nights or they will be really REALLY dark [OPTIONAL]

HOME button is to tweak the reshade
(in case you want to remove the letterbox effect which is "border")
DELETE button is to turn on/off the reshade

I have to try your reshade, because of your nickname alone :-)
Works fine and I love it. It gives some more depth to the image, like 'more 3D'. I just had to slide down the contrast, a little bit to my liking.
Could you tell me the settings in the screenshots? Either my game looks too bright and colorful or devoid of color. There isn't that beautiful middle ground you seem to have.
it works with directx 8?
I installed everything just like you said but my game is crashing upon reaching the (press any key to continue) portion of any loading screen, any assistance would be appreciated.
Nevermind, It seemed to just work itself out and now everything is working fine
