Requires DXML and anomaly 1.5.2
This script uses DXML to patch the main menu to include the MCM button if needed.
It will allow _most_ Main Menu changers that do not support MCM to be used with MCM.
If they modify the ui_main_menu.script then this addon will only add a non functional button, nothing i can do about that.

how to do this manually
make sure mcm has a lower priority than the main menu addon. or is installed first if using jsgme or manual install.
in the main menu addons files:
ui_mm_main_16.xml
under every line that looks like this:
<btn name="btn_options" caption="ui_mm_options_n" />
add this line:
<btn name="btn_mcm" caption="ui_mm_menu_mcm" />
that is all it takes to make one of these work with MCM. just one line pasted in 6 times.

is there is an easy way to rename mods in the MCM menu? im always trying to remember what someone called some mod which the first word should be the subject of the mod. like the "sort" mod is named "Sort" ___. sadly many people dont do this. im looking through the read me and stuff now. "\gamedata\configs\text\eng" is where i been changing them
example of why i want to change. "YACS" is the button name of the campfire mod i always forget where it is. a way to customize/rename like this in the in game MCM menu would be sweet.
that's how you change them, edit the text in the translation strings.
Alternitivly you could complain to the mod makers that thier menu names are bad
