Liberty Texture Pack 1.2

DESCRIPTION

For those who don't know Last Day's Back To The Roots was uploaded for Anomaly 1.3 back in 2018 and was never updated since then.
It still works with 1.5.1 after changing a few things but most new players are unaware of it. As a potato owner who plays all STALKER games on DX8 I took the liberty to merge widely known Simple Autumn Retexture and Anomaly For Potato addons with BTTR Textures and tweaked it a little to work with each other to give you a good looking game with maximum fps possible.

Liberty Texture Pack does not overwrite any files whatsoever and should be compatible with all of the addons except other texture packs.

Recommended for users playing on DX8/DX9. Tested and works fine on DX8 but let me know if any problems occur in DX9.

• LTP Now comes with two main flavors. Choose your pick anytime.

1. Anomaly Default Green
   - Green foliage as seen in default Anomaly.
   - BTTR Grass. It fills the ground even on low settings and looks lushly.
   - Everything is optimized for performance.
2. Anomaly Autumn
   - Autumnal textured foliage (Orange/desaturated yellow trees and grass).
   - BTTR grass but changed the texture color to match with SAR.
   - Everything is optimized for performance.

• Added Michiko's weather revamp for better atmosphere.
• Now updated with Anomaly For Potato 1.4. Compressed weapon textures from AFPv1.4 are optional.
• Added New Sun flares by JDud.
• Repacked everything into databases for faster copy/pasting.

• Addon will now use game's default lods. It fixes the box tree textures that you may encounter at the horizon. If you don't want any lods, use No Lods preset from Optional Preset folder.

• Restored default model textures of Anomaly. BTTR Model textures are now optional.

• Simple Autumn Retexture is now part of Liberty Texture Pack. Goes really well with the flavor of Back to The Roots.
• Optimized SAR textures for low end pcs to ensure maximum FPS possible.
• Default Anomaly grass from Anomaly For Potato is now optional.
• Changed the hierarchy of the mod. Making it cleaner and more configurable.
• More optimized grass textures that go very well with the rest of the textures.
• Overall performance improvements.

INSTALLATION:

JSGME is recommended. Just drop the addons on top of each other as per their serial numbers.

For those who are just copy pasting manually, DO NOT drop it in gamedata folder. Just copy db folder and paste it in game directory.

Step 1: Install BTTR Main Addon first.
Step 2: Install any ONE flavor. Not both. You can change the flavor easily as per your mood at any time.
Step 3: Install the optional presets as per your taste. It is fine if you don't install any, addon will work fine without it as well.

Step 1 and Step 2 ARE MUST. One won't work without the other. Step 3 is optional.

(Optional) Delete shade cache and reset user.ltx

Compatible with everything except other texture packs. Other texture packs cannot conflict with anything from this addon as LTP comes in database. So if you drop them in gamedata, game will simply ignore LTP and use other texture packs.

IMPORTANT

• Avoid using compressed weapon textures if you are playing on DX9 or using Boomsticks and Sharpsticks. Works fine for the most part but why take risks.

• Compatible with anything other than other texture packs. Should not be a problem for BaS, JSRS and other addons like these. Don't use compressed weapon textures if you're using BaS.

• DO NOT CRANK UP TEXTURE DETAILS BEYOND 50%. IT MAY END UP CRASHING THE GAME.

• DO NOT FIDDLE AROUND WITH GRASS SETTINGS. Just work with whatever performance presets(Potato, Low, High, Extreme etc.) gives you. Going high on grass will most likely result in game crashing. This is a problem with xRay engine and not the addon itself.

• The foliage and grass for both the presets is different and only works best for their respective presets. Avoid mixing them up.
  You can change the grass into Anomaly's default one if you don't like it. Just go to optional preset folder and use the respective patch.
