Can you fix the brain damage it deals to me irl to see how messed up is the screen after the shock?
Good one, btw. The damage shock is way overpowered even with huge psyprotection.
Looked at the file and this is extremely misleading, this makes them completely harmless...

I think controllers should remain very dangerous. Part of the fun to beat them in bad circumstances.
Controllers and burers are not that hard to kill. To kill controller, just hide behind something to block the line of sight, then quickly keep on peeking and shoot it at the head (3 shots should do it).
for burers, just wait for it to puts it's sheild down and then quickly attack before it puts it back up.
Installing this addons would be tooo much of a nerf. imo the controllers and burers need a buff instead.

I think they only need a psy Aura buff, but their ranged attack needs a nerf. I don't think it should insta kill you even with the best gear. Yes they should still be dangerous but because of the way that attack works, based on line of sight. It makes them too dangerous, to a point of unfairness, not challenging.
It usually doesn't instakill you. It should take 2 hits. That should give you enough time to run for cover in most cases, unless you're running around like a maniac in the Zone...
The range is a bit extreme. I think the damage should go down proportionally to the distance. Maybe one-third to half as much damage at its full range.
Another issue I have is it doesn't seem to be reduced by any resistances. I kept trying to stack psy, rupture, ballistic, etc to see if I could tank it, but I didn't notice any changes even with powerful artifacts. That is my biggest beef with the controller - it shouldn't be bypassing armor.
It's very important for the Controller to remain a dangerous enemy. It's supposed to be the thing you don't engage alone. Letting the player easily tank it would remove all the magic of the experience. It should take a highly specialized build to survive an extra hit or two, in my opinion.
Well, it does insta-kill me ^^ I'm not super protected but I'm not naked either.. And since I have no clue it's about to happen befor my vision going crazy, I think it's a bit over powered ^^
But I'm all for that ! I didn't knew it's based on sight, so I can hide it's allready that, but can I still move while it happen ? At least I would really prefer a kind of warning, like a first attack that make way less damage.. And I love the idea of a decreasing power depending on the distance ! I'm also afraid about what you said on protection, what is even the point of a psy-tank build if it's useless ? ^^
controllers are broken asf they got insane range and can kill you in a second even with good gear they need to be nerfed to the ground and buriers and bloodsuckers need to be buffed to high heaven cause they are so weak its sad
nah you're cracked controllers are busted asf and are some bobo ah haha they can kill you in a second if you dont know they're there plus they're range is insane saying to hide when you only have a second to do so is ***. burners though yeah they *** ngl they and bloodsuckers need major buffs
Every time I install it, the game crashes without even opening.
I really like playing this game with 0 lives Ironman, its a bit extreme i know but since day one that's all i have done and i enjoy the thrill of being scared of dying at any moment (normally by stepping into a random anomaly that u don't see) but after like 20 days of non stop pain and heartache i managed to get to radar after having looted every single thing i could find in all of the maps before it. so i have a Mercenary Nosrog and 4 artifacts slots i believe i had 2 Full Empties and 2 powerful psy resistance ones i can't recall the name of it? anyway i also had other buffs going on since i use psy-blocker 247 up there cuz it does last for a while when you use it. So what happens? as i enter the main area on the road and i die instantly... no warning no laughing no change in the screens color. A controller killed me in 1 shot through the trees and the grass unseeable. GAME OVER! its happened a few times now when its REALLLLYYY far away and it just one shots u. also if it hits you once it ***** you up so bad u can't escape the 2nd blast cuz ur slow and dying. This is why it needs changing imo i agree with it being very scary and hard but the game has little annoying things like them being able to use the force to kill you through trees from 50 miles down the road.

I had a strange bug when I die of a controller attack or a Psy emition, when I respaw (I use ¨A little res paw mod¨) then the human enemies ignore me, when they see me they do not open fire. A couple of people complain of the same in other websites. I have to reload an old save before dying or better says kill myself and avoid dead for controller, It is really annoying when I do not know what was causing it and lost hours had to start again.
This will help me not only to survive but to avoid bugging the game.
