Prevent Leshiy, the Freedom guide in Army Warehouses, from wandering out of the base and dying somewhere.
**UH OH, I MADE AN OOPSIE!!!**
This addon may not actually work. Several people have pointed out to me that Leshiy would still end up lying dead in a gutter somewhere else in the Army Warehouses even while using this mod. Eventually I experienced this for myself as well and concluded that there must still be some cases where a task is overriding the specific gulags assigned to Leshiy.
For now there's no harm using this even if it might only be a placebo, but I'm archiving it since it quite possibly isn't doing what it advertises.
Fairly simple addon. By default Leshiy (the Freedom guide in Army Warehouses) has two jobs assigned to him - the lower priority is to have a bit of a walk around the base and the higher priority is to stand where you'd typically find him.
The problem with these is they both contain a link to a gulag which overrides them and send Leshiy to go sleep. And if he's doing that he will detect and respond to any combat taking place outside the base. Likewise, even when locked into his 'correct' position, by default he still engages in combat between Freedom NPCs and other NPCs, leading to him running out of the base and dying.
So this addon removes his ability to go sleep or walk around the base. It also sets him to remain passive *unless* the player character is considered hostile by Freedom.
So now Leshiy will stand very patiently in the corridor near the mechanic until hell freezes over :)
A must have addon. The other day I was on a Merc ironman run and wanted to travel to Jupiter from the Warehouses for a bunch of hit contracts because it was a long and dangerous trek through the Red Forest and was left scratching my head on where to find this dude. Managed to stumble into his corpse near the entrance to Rostok. Figure it.
If you could do this for all of the Quest / Important Characters, this would be Mod of the Year.
Butcher in my past couple of games will randomly wander outside of his shop in Garbage to go fight mutants outside the Train Depot and it's really annoying when he gets dabbed on by a bloodsucker somewhere in the middle of the night.

I have constant problem with Aslan giving up his trader spot and wandering around merc base.
I could, would take a little while. I made this because ya boy Leshiy seemed particularly prone to going walkabout.
A temporary fix for dead/missing NPCs is to spawn a new instance of them with debug. I have a tutorial for that on my YouTube channel.

Im having a strange issue.
When i play as a loner leshiy isnt there, instead theres a random freedomer that refuses to talk to me.
Then i started a new playrtough as freedom and there he is, near the mechanic.
After i tried starting another loner playtrough, the usual spot was empty. And he coulndt possibly have been killed since i just spawned as loner and imediately fast traveled there.
I also tested spawning as merc, wich worked fine. He was standing there in the usual.
Has anyone experienced this? It seems loner isnt working.
It works for me, in all of my runs (even failed/cancelled aka deleted ones), the former merc then turned freedom for the sake of Anomaly's lore was and is still there, sometimes he may wander outside for a bit (and when I mean a bit, I mean very long, like rly, Lukash even have his feet glued to the ground). Maybe you were and are just very unlucky, or you did something that ****** the Zone hard so hard that it personally sent some computer controllers to yeet him away from you. Or simply you didn't talked or helped Hog (reference to the og trilogy).
My newest and current run is Loner, and I talked to him just fine. If you really think that your Loner runs has problems with those npc, I suggest you go to the Anomaly Official Discord server. Go to the "Summary" pg and scroll down until you see the big Discord button. Click it and join in the server. I'm also there too, name Stechkov.

So this is the exact issue the mod fixes. By default he can have a wander around and can be hard to find or dead by the time you you get there if you didn't start as freedom. With this mod he will only stand on one place.
Also if you use this addon and load an old save it may not work because Leshiy might already be gone.
Try checking out the barrack where the medic for Freedom hangs out. If Lesheiy is not in the building where the mechanic is, he will be there.

Ha ha! When I played as a bandit, everyone in the level came running to attack me including Sakharov, I was surprised.
We would need to be able to get to his body to get the psi-helmet thing if being a bandit, I might look into seeing if the doors can be removed (as people just walk through them anyway)
Edit: Just checked and there is a wall behind the door. However, I was able to low-crouch-jump into his lab area through the trading gap.

Even though I use the tougher important NPCs, they're not invincible. Before I used that addon I would find a dead Leshiy in various locations, even right down near where you first enter the level!
Well, even though I installed this addon, I found Leshiy dead on the way near the gate to Rostok. I use JSGME by the way.
A must-have!
Edit: Greetings. I believe this mod is not working properly, since Leshiy still keeps walking around, and I can testify, 'cause I've been with this mod some time now.
I think he died before I even got there. Does this NPC even spawn anymore? lol or am I just looking for a ghost?
