KF-confinement is a claustrophobic mini-biolab designed to force player movement between rounds, but trap players during them.
I designed it with intentional emphasis on door welding. You should find welding doors beneficial wherever they are. For example, try welding one player into the "security checkpoint" while others cover the door from inside the computer lab. Try welding the catwalk door and shooting zeds as they travel through the courtyard. Don't fall off the higher side!
This is my first video game map. I've been an enthusiastic fan of the industry my entire life- in all its forms, so the concepts weren't foreign. Still, doing this heightened my already great appreciation for the immense amount of work developers do. It's amazing how possibly the most technical art form manages to also demand a vast amount of mundane repetitive work.
As of this submission it hasn't been played, it will have issues.
I will try to host at 75.143.86.239. It may not work if Charter is having a bad day, too many children just got off the school bus, or a deer has looked at a telephone pole in the wrong way. Located in Alabama, should get decent pings in the southeast.
Version g - final revision for 11/30/15.
When I started making this map the game felt stagnant because it had become too easy. It should challenge skilled players. Good luck!
Does what it says on the pack :) Definitely a challenge, very confined, tight and narrow, easy to get trapped so good for a solo player looking for a challenge. Looks great and polished, I'll definitely be giving this quite a few goes soon. Great effort.
