A village and ski resort at the base of the Alps should be bustling with tourism this time of year, however since the outbreak all has been quiet on the slopes. That is, until you and your team get here... #grindhouse

Motormouth here, with my third entry to the grindhouse contest!
This time I wanted to do something a bit christmassy, but also visually timeless enough that it wouldn't be jarring at any other time of the year. I settled on a village/ski resort, and I've tried to create deceptively long sightlines that leave players at risk of being suddenly jumped from the sides or above if they focus downstreet too long, as many zed spawns are on the roofs which surround most of the map.

really like this map, really big. but the peformance does kill it a little. will you be uploading a version with PCV at sometime? id like to add it to my server if so =]
yes, this map needs optimization. Frame rate drops to 36 on my pc
In contention for my favorite map at this point, It's great! I love the feel of it and all the different varying location's and landmarks really help you be tactically minded.
Id say it could use a few things to spice it up one being falling snow. I really wanted there to be snow falling from the sky at least time to time.
The church is kinda off it seems like all the people in the town got all the garbage from their homes and emptied it into the church for some reason XD
the outside looks fine it's just the inside could be cleaned up a little in comparison to how everywhere else looks more pristine.
Then just general polish and i feel the map will be pe-erfect!

Hi,
just played your map with a friend on our dedicated server and we noticed a few problems.
1/ at the end of most waves there was stuck zeds, a crawler at this spot Steamcommunity.com (between the middle red sofa and the computers); a clot there Steamcommunity.com (he kept on running from one wall to the fence); a bloat on a roof Steamcommunity.com and finally a scrake on another roof Steamcommunity.com
2/ the trader arrows don't work everywhere (some places they appear, other places they don't)
3/ the splatter maps are cut by invisible lines in some spots (like here Steamcommunity.com)
Nice Christmas-y map though, hope to see it fixed for inclusion in our future linux server.
What OS are you running for the dedicated server?
