Simple mod adding a customizable hitmark appearing on hitting target
People asked people got. A customizable hitmark from my arpg mod. You can set color settings and fade time via MCM menu. Be advised that as hud part all settings are requiring reloading current game (not entire restart).

I am a bit confused, what's a hitmark? You mean crosshairs?
Hell no. When you hit any creature, at the center of crosshair you can see X-like crosshair, just like in (almost) every shooter.
Basically a visual indicator located around the crosshairs when you hit a NPC. Helps to tell you that you're actually hitting your target in an efficient and less intrusive way.

I have one idea for hitmarkers: when you made headshot, hitmarker will be red (default colour), when killed an enemy (no headshot, just for example shot at the body), hitmarker will be green, but you can change colours too.

now i can actually tell if ive hit something or not for once in stalker, because of this addon ive found out that red shells from shotguns actually do hit people from a distance wtf

Yeah, I don't know why, firstly no crashes, but later started this thing as some guys. Damn, stupid magic no good reason crashes:

someday, but I guess no.
Started getting it today, everything worked yesterday...
As a temprorary fix: open xmark.script and replace line 42 with
old_time = time_global() + 200
200 is the default fade time in addon settings, change it accordingly.
This method worked for me, I posted about this error on may 11th. Forgot to log in though. Thanks for this solution.
