Summary says all you need to know.
- Pick up the gun
- Get the ammo in background
- Get rid of the gun if you don't need it
OR
- Loot the body
- See like every gun in his pockets are unloaded and you're free to take the ammo.
Known issues: it can and should unload all your guns on the game start so spent some time and load your weapons before jump in the fight!
In case of additional requests an autodropping script of unloaded guns could be added.

Good idea, but, it also unloads your weapons every time you load a savegame, and on every map change, either by normal travelling of fast travel. Not so good...

You can add a check in your script if the weapon is in actor slot 1 2 3 or 4 then return

Alternatively, rather than use the 'actor_on_item_take' function, you could use 'actor_item_to_ruck' instead. That way it won't affect weapons in slots, only weapons moved to the main inventory (which includes moving a weapon out of a slot).
