This is technically Yakovleva's Improved Ranks addon, but for Anomaly 1.5.1
Reupdate after a long 2 months.
For the installation, always put the normal Improved Ranks first: Improved Ranks -> Normal Improved Ranks -> Normal(order where the normal improved ranks folder is).
Then every other patch comes.
Patches for addons: Dynamic Mutants, Arszi's Controller Overhaul, Yastin + Favkis Fluid Dynamic Relations
For Rowan's Alife addon, put Rowan's mod first then mine cause the gameplay options don't matter and the Rowan's ranks there are vanilla
Contact me on discord if there are any problems: peraleglerg#8982
Seems to work fine, good job. With this, rank system makes a bit more sense.
works with warzone alife overhaul and rowans rebalanced alife profiles and ranks?
it works with warfare alife overhaul but it doesnt for rowans rebalanced alife profiles and ranks. If people want it i will make the patch for the addon
Yes please, that would be great.
it's coming out tomorrow i'm too tired rn to merge it
Hi,
there is missing gamedata folder in archive structure:
Improved_Ranks_for_Anomaly_1.5.1_1.1v.rar
\improved_ranks_for_anomaly_1.5.1 1.1v\
\improved ranks for anomaly 1.5.1\
\normal improved ranks\
\improved ranks + rowansrebalancedalifeprofiles 1.0.2\
\configs\ <- this folder should be in gamedata folder in the archive
nothing major, just a heads up, it would ease up installation through M.O. 2
Thank you for your hard work, sir.
i will fix it right now

I can't seem to get it to work. Most of the acclaimed values for the ranks don't seem to work, I kill any enemy and the same old 5 points get added to my rank. I'm not sure if there's anything I gotta change in the files. It's vanilla otherwise btw
The "Improved Ranks + RowansRebalancedAlifeProfiles 1.0.2" patch has the file structure - gamedata...configs...profiles... then the xml files.
The Normal Improved Ranks Option has the file structure - gamedata...configs...gameplay...profiles...then the xml files.
Is this difference intentional? Or have you missed a folder for the RRAP patch version?
My mistake. Will update
I'm using this addon along with RowansRebalancedAlifeProfiles and the patch for it and there are no master or legend stalkers in the zone besides eidolon who is the only legend. Everybody else are experts and lower. Is this addon suppose to work like that?
pretty sure I solved the issue by adding the gameplay folder to "Improved Ranks + RowansRebalancedAlifeProfiles 1.0.2" folder like the above post mentioned
RRAP patch is indeed messed up - missing a subdirectory.
In other news, here's merged relations file for IR (Normal) + Dynamic Mutants + Arszi's Controller Overhaul - Anonfiles.com
I ported all Arszi's changes there, except for Medwed. Medwed will continue to be chill.
hey can i request a patch for Improved Ranks + Controller Overhaul i needed the patch cuz i dont use Dynamic Mutants...much thanks
Sure will finish it tomorrow
This addon seems to be poorly-balanced. I managed to reach the Legendary rank in 7 in-game days without killing too many people. Statistics says that I killed 57 mutants, 31 stalkers, completed 72 tasks, found 314 stashes, smashed 427 boxes, detected 30 artefacts, etc. And yes, you do get higher ranks for smashing boxes, I can attest that I was getting "your rank improved" for doing just so.
The final leg of my journey consisted of me killing a bunch of zombies at Cordon, 200 points per zombie (it seems that these zombies counted as "experienced stalkers" for the purpose of ranking).
Also, top-100 stalkers in the game have at least Expert rank (many have even higher). With this addon that's 800 points per kill. You only need to kill 62 of those guys to make it to the top.
In short, this addon creates too many experienced stalkers (which by itself might not be a bad thing - experienced stalkers should also be tougher, so it's still fair), gives too many points per kill ("less generous kills" is just 1/2 of the amount this addon provides, which means that I'd be a Legend in 14 days, not 7; somehow I don't see this as an improvement, since I still haven't been north of the bar yet), and makes the rank ceiling too low for this.
I also have Dynamic Objects addon installed, which adds lots of boxes everywhere. That probably contributed.
Sorry for not answering you guys. I stopped playing Anomaly for a while. And real leaper the answer to your question is that you put the setting for the bigger kill award, there is for a smaller rank increase
Even with the smaller rank bonus for kills option installed, I'd still get too many points for killing stalkers. And this option does not affect the bonus for killing mutants (200 points) or for smashing boxes, or for anything else, really.
To wit: you get an achievement for surviving 25 emissions and psi-storms. Normally emissions don't happen every day (I know that there's a setting for this, but who would want VERY frequent emissions?). With this addon, even if you use the less generous kill option, you'd still probably hit Legend before earning this achievement.
While the game makes more sense, in a real-life setting, with this mod, since in the lore the zone is a desolate place, I would tend to agree that, even with the option that makes killing less rewarding, it makes reaching legend ranking very easy.
Still a 10/10 mod in my opinion. Just use it carefully, if you're a veteran of the game.
I am really confused.
You explained how and what to install if I use one of the following:
1. If using Improved Ranks + Dynamic Mutants
2. If using Improved Ranks + Rowans Rebalanced Alife Profiles 1.0.2
3. If using Improved Ranks(Shadow of Chernobyl Ranks) + Yastin + Favkis Fluid Dynamic Relations 1.0.4
4. If using Improved Ranks(Shadow of Chernobyl Ranks) + Dynamic Mutants
What if I use:
Improved Ranks + Dynamic Mutants + Rowans Rebalanced Alife Profiles 1.0.2 at the same time?
What do I install, in what order?
Sorry I am just tired trying to install addons with so many compatibility issues.
So I installed Dynamic Mutants.
THen I installed Rowans Rebalanced Alife.
THen I installed Improved Ranks 1.12 (Normal Improved Ranks > Normal folder)
Then I installed Improved Ranks 1.12 Rowans Patch (Normal Improved Ranks > Improved Ranks + RowansRebalancedAlifeProfiles 1.0.2 folder)
Then I installed Optional Less rewarding kills for Dynamic Mutants.
Is that a right order?
I'm updating it completely rn
Largo de aquí, stalker.
no, sal de aquí acosador(google translate lol)
