- UPDATE 1.1 -
This update brings full compatibility with the 1.3 patch for HL2: MMod. Steam Overlay functionality is also restored with this update.
If you encounter any issues with this RC build, please report them to me so I can investigate and fix said issues. (already aware of several issues - some of them I have fixed, some I'm still working on fixing for the 1.0 release)
If nothing goes wrong, patch version 1.0 should be out on Sunday.
UPDATE: Patch version 1.0 has been released.
Have fun!
When shooting from a crossbow, the arrow falls below and to the right with respect to the sight, both in normal mode and when using the aiming grid. Is this how it should be or is it a error in MMod itself?
The crossbow has bullet travel time and bullet drop values but I can't seem to be able to reproduce a scenario in which the crossbow's shot falls off to the right. Usually it just falls straight down.
I would appreciate it if you could record a gameplay video that clearly displays the issue you seem to be encountering.
Below and to the right of the sight? Check to see if the mmod option Use Muzzle position for projectiles is turned on.
Damm, I forgot this option even existed. Guess it makes sense now.
Everything is clear. All scripts works Very Well! Amazing job mate! And thanks for making a lot of patches compatibility with MMod! :)
Edit
Get missing Library client error on start-up. Original game is installed. Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer is installed and set to "upcoming". FYI - Betas on Original Downfall game cannot be set to upcomming.
Hey mate, I'm having an issue I've had with a couple mmod patches, so I wouldn't be surprised that it's mmod's own fault, but my car and gun reloading sounds are just gone. No idea why, i dont hear anything when driving the car or reloading at least the pistol. Might also be the smg, like in other cases, but i've not gotten it yet.
Just a question -- I'll probably end up downloading your Fixes and Enhancements mod as well but is this usable without that or is it absolutely required for this patch to work?
