Maybe now i can cross dead city without her being hidden or with zero health but still alive thanks to addon scripts, thanks for reviving this mod, komrade.

Does this work with Bandit/UNISG/Sin factions if disguised?
I don't think so. Unfortunately making a mod that will disguise Hip is out of my reach for now.
I don't really know how the disguise system works but try using the dialogue option when disguised and find out.
If this is the original scrip then i think it does?
Hip should change to your current NPC-perceived faction (so, including disguises).
I recall disguising as Military (as a Loner) and telling Hip to change factions so we could do the Ecologist analysis sampling mission next to the Fault Anomaly at Machine Yard in Great Swamps and then walking straight into the Machine Yard to verify if it worked, i could be mistaken or remembering wrong though, it was years ago.
Oh, also, i think she doesn't allow you to disguise/breaks your cover (and even comments on it) if she sees you when you change armor, so tell her to wait and get behind something.
It works with disguises, remember to use the dialogue option again to enable disguise.
edit: there is a bug that Hip can spot You in disguise and blow the cover.

my other save also have the same error, but the argument is "hide_hud" instead.
Well, that might a mod conflict.
Try "He is with me" mod as an alternative.
btw, this error relates to different thing, not the content of Hip mod
