Very realistic to shout out loud to the enemy in a world where silence is your best friend and you silence even weapons with suppressors to be more stealthy.
It's fun for many people (like me) to be able to shout like an NPC. I'm pretty sure the eneies can't even hear it, it just plays directly into the speakers without a game world location like the music.
I know that in game that sound is not heard, but it's not realistic for me. Even the NPC yelling is stupid, for me, because in fact I know their position from the yelling (I think it was done by vanilla STALKER actually to make it more easier to spot the enemy). I also use NPC yelling to know which faction they belong to.
This said, play as you want, it was just my personal thought.
Yeah, that's fair. Part of the Anomaly experience for me is being equal to the NPCs because it's nice to do something without an advantage, it makes it more real to me.
I think the yelling is incredibly realistic. Suppressors do not silence a weapon. They are audible up to and past 400m at times. Yelling will easily be drowned out by the gunfire. Not to mention most people shooting will likely have their ears popped or ringing. Realistically, people wouldn't be restricted to carbon copy voicelines or cliche faction rehearsed taunts, so you determining their factions is just you picking.
Sorry I missed this comment! I don't believe there is, but I suggest looking. I just use a generic voiced actor mod with individual faction shout mods.

Can I use your mod as a base to make another mod? It is for player character to yell out attack lines according to their factions.
