A custom skin for the fictitious 75th Air Force unit of the UAF which is inspired by a real-life special coloration of the Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force)
"Sicut fulgur in tenebris"
"Like a lightning in the Dark", that was the motto of the 75th Air Force Unit, also known as "Green Lightnings", an élite fighter squadron of the Ustio Air Force.
Part of the 3rd Air Division, 37th Wing, 18th Fighter Group, was an acrobatic team based in Directus AFB and established in 1987 to celebrate the newborn independent Republic. It was made both of belkan independentists and ustian pilots and flew in various air shows around the world showing off their skills and their trademark acrobatic maneuver: the "Ustian Skybolt".
However, with the belkan invasion of 1995, the squadron was reassigned to military operations with their main task, to defend the capital city. Unfortunately, the UAF was overwhelmed by the strenght of the belkan army and soon, every remaining squadron retreated to south with the only exception of them who fought till the very end to provide air support to retreating ustian army. Many years after the war, in 2005, Directus' city council erected a memorial in the outskirts of the city dedicated to this squadron and their brave pilots who gave their lifes for peace and for Ustio.
And there it is, my very first skin! Hope you'll enjoy it :D
Also, I really want to say thank to my fellow compatriot dido8704 for his patience and help, grazie ancora! Mi sei stato di grande aiuto, oggi!
Disclaimer: If you want to use my skin for any missions that you intend to upload on MoDb, feel free to use it, just remember to give me credits. Also, you cannot redistribute this file without my authorization.
Your patterns and colours are off to a reasonably decent start.
I don't have too much to add on, so all I can criticize is the nose. I'd suggest attempting to warp it around the conical shape of its mapping.
It's sorta like a slightly more complex Scarface in black-n-green. While I personally can think of lots of better colours, Monster Energy is at least a decent start.
