No configs\ui folder in Hunger, thirst, sleep bars patch version. It therefore makes a mess out of inventory and an empty square is shown instead of rank icons.
what do you mean?
for me "configs\ui" is present in all 3 versions
Sorry, didn't put that correctly. No textures_descr folder. Anyway, I couldn't make it work with Hunger, thirst, sleep bars patch and Bart's New Sorting Tabs.

"configs\ui\ui_inventory_16.xml" & "scripts\ui_inventory.script"
I need to do a patch for it
I put it last in the loading order, but I only see a black box in the inventory.
either the ui_actor_menu.dds is corrupt or something else alters this file
I did merge the parts that differ, and set your addon to load after both New Sorting tabs and the main HTS addon. No luck. The result is the same as niandica has.
if you try to launch the game without New Sorting tabs, does it work correctly?
I wouldn't even try it since two additional sorting tabs are more important for me than rank icons. But as far as I can see, the problem is somewhere in ui_actor_menu.xml. So it should work fine without New Sorting tabs, as main HTS addon does not conflict with this file.

not working at all no icons, HTS is working but empty icon slots
you need to install the „HTS Version“ on top of HTS itself
then it should work
Your addon have to overwrite main hts? It disable main mod for me…
are you installing it per drag and drop or do you use a Mod Manager? If you use a Mod Managerm which one?

first the Thirst, Hunger, Sleep Bars addon and below that my
HTS version (not HTS Patch Version)
I'm having the same problem, I'm using HTS patch version with your addon patch version too... if I put your addon before HTS, HTS overwrites it, if I put your addon after HTS, your addon overwrites HTS. Either way the inventory appears invisible, only icons appear.

and, your addon is compatible with Radiation Overhaul? Moddb.com or I need a patch for that one too? thx! I really like the idea of your addon, hope to be able to use it in the near future =)

yup, exactly those two!
Install "Vanilla" version first then "HTS patch" version if your icons are missing.
Did it work with AyeBlin's method?
sadly not... I tried he's method and the vanilla patch only and the results are the same, like in the 2nd image I left above :c

Ребят работает разобрался ! просто ставьте Версия HTS Bar - совместима с БАРАМИ ГОЛОДА, ЖАЖДЫ, СОНЛИВОСТИ а патч не надо, если у вас этот аддон Moddb.com

A minor change that makes a big difference. I forgot how much I missed having the NPC's faction and rank on their portrait (and I'm not sold on the Modern UI variants out there). Well done!

Я устанавливал так:
- скачал только этот мод.
- в папку "[FRI] Vanilla Version" закинул файлы из "[FRI] HTS Bar Patch Version".
- всё. работает отлично.
и это не работало без ванильной версии [FRI]?
Если я ставлю только "[FRI] HTS Bar Patch Version". Картинки фракции и ранга не показывались, вместо них тёмные квадраты.
Если я ставлю только "[FRI] HTS Bar Version". При открытии инвентаря игра вылетает.
Если я ставлю только "[FRI] Vanilla Version". всё в порядке. =)
I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong in the installation process, but the "HTS Bar Patch Version" does not seem to work. The faction and rank icon show up as just empty black boxes for me.
