- An unique character, Anna. She guards the Rostok entrance at day and stays around the campfire at night.
- New stalker settlement, a Duty outpost.
- A quest chain of 4 quests to unlock the Duty outpost and Anna who will be a companion.
- New game is not required.

+ Remove ammo supplies from two combat quests. Not everyone uses guns that consume 5.45x39mm ammo. Providing supplies based on the player's weapon takes too much effort and doesn't make sense.

I understand that this is for the story mode, can it be accessed from any faction, or only if you are from "Duty"?
You can play any faction that is friendly with Duty.
Peaked my interest, I downloaded the zip and got stuck because of the bin folder;
not because I don't know what to do with it, but because I'm using DLTX, FDDA and SB2DS - all of them use the .EXEs.
The question is: is this compatible with them?

The update on the 25th says it resolved the compatibility issue with DLTX. The short change log doesn't say how and i haven't dug into it myself yet. I'm sure the detailed instructions for this addon or DLTX will explain it.

Sorry, I can read, but I'm not going to verify my phone for discord. Had one issue where Anna didn't spawn back at her starting location after the army warehouse battle. Loading an earlier save fixed it. The new medic at the outpost didn't have an inventory, but you could ask to see it. He was also on top of a Fruit Punch.
That and Forester is also missing.
Ran into a similar issue. Sid is missing.
She has three activities at Rostok with three different locations at different time in a day.
Can you show me the medic? The location where he stay and the trading dialog.
I'm kinda dumb. I deleted the saves earlier and went back to my main playthrough. Rushed through it again and the Fruit Punch was gone and I could trade with him. He was sitting in the chair next to to the bedrolls in the Red Forest bunker both times though. The dialogue was the same, but the Fruit Punch time opened a blank inventory.
Are you planning to provide the source files? Currently a lot of people should be using modified EXEs since some stuff from such addons is quite essential or just popular (or both) and it'd be great to make it possible to make patches
And just wondering: after all, why an engine mod was required here?
I concur, I'm pretty sure the reason for the new engine was because of the dialogue update it brings.

you do realize that even the vanilla games (SOC iirc) implied that women were in the zone as well - in much smaller numbers, and sometimes hiding their identities, but iirc one of the duty soldiers in an exoskeleton during the freedom ambush/assault quest with the snipers is implied to be a woman. also, during the american occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan the local men would get offended because they didn't realize that the soldiers doing patdowns on their wives/daughters were female - that's what full combat gear, ballistic goggles/sunglasses and a shemagh does
