Adds 5 new rifles, 1 smg in dtlx format featuring the Beretta AR70, Daewoo K2, K7 SMG, K2GL, K1 Collapsable stock, DR2000 Modernized. Includes patches for multiple mods.
NOTICE:
YOU NEED BAS FOR THE K2 ANIMATIONS TO WORK. IF YOU HAVE EFP (based), OR GAMMA (yuck), THEN IT SHOULD WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. THERE WILL BE NO SUPPORT FOR GAMMA. DO NOT REUPLOAD TO GAMMA.
Hey there guys, This pack features the following weapons: K1: Collapsible stock variant of the Daewoo. Lighter than the K2 but less drip. K2: The OG daewoo rifle. DR2000: The Daewoo meant for modern people. K2GL: A dope ass K2 with a M203. Looks nice and features a heat shield. K7: Fast SMG that will turn enemies into swiss cheese. Watch your ammo. AR70: Good beginner rifle with target shooting sights. How to find these:
- If you start as freedom or a merc you can start with two variants of these rifles.
- Find them on mercs, freedom or monolith. Buy them from merc, freedom, and monolith traders
- Cheat and get them anyways
INSTALLATION:
This mod is pretty basic to install.
Create a new folder inside your MO2 mods folder called Delicious Daewoos or whatever you please. Drop the gamedata and relevant patches inside patches inside too.
Do not drop directly into your anomaly game folder. We don't live in the stone age anymore.
If you don't understand how to install patches, for the love of god don't post on the Daewoo page. Annoy jannies in your STALKER servers.

All of them accept suppressors, it says so in their in game descriptions. Sights arent the end all, be all lf guns. If you want retro tacticool get the dr200. It accepts scopes.

Just curious, what makes gamma yuck and efp based?
Both projects are interesting and good in their own ways. People not liking the hobo phase nor crafting usually dislike gamma, which is understandable imo, can't please everyone.
I mean the guy is probably exaggerating just how much he thinks one is better than the other, it's the internet and everyone does that. I don't mind it, and I like to discuss preferences, even if it gets spicy.
I never played EFP and don't have the time rn to set everything up, especially since I got GAMMA to a point that suits me nicely. So I don't really know for what kind of a feel efp goes.
Gamma introduced me to MO2 so tweaking the modpack to my liking is immensly easy compared to doing it manually. So I don't get people when they say they have a problem with gamma's settings. I love the hobo phase but tweaked the progression.
I simply made some guns abailable at traders at suitable goodwill, changed prices to reflect that, made outfits available etc.
Still much less work than doing that manually, and I don't have to worry about rudimentary compatibility between essential addons, and I start with graphically consistent base, that doesn't suffer from memory leaks like my anomaly usually does after I'm done with building it manually.
I doubt that there is so much difference between the modpacks that one can possibly be yuck while the other is based. So I'm really curious about what led to a conclusion like that. Also can give me ideas about features I could add.

There is an issue with the k7, it's absolutely tiny which is adorabale but may also constitute a mistake.

Yes! Check my YT for previews and updates. We just "cracked" another bug/issue with a script. Things are coming together slowly but surely. But before bringing the "big" mods, like my Sig pack, I'll post a few smaller vanilla gun replacer mods (USAS12, Striker, LR300 and FN Fal, to name a few) that do not rely on the wip scripts. For now the sights will still be those the eotech, the poor person red dot and the acog for the dr200. In the future, maybe this will change.

I fully agree with you on the icons but they are onpar with vanilla icons for the game. The next mode i publish will have better icons

Don't forget that there's no sight, nor silencers compatible with the guns.
Dont forget that silencers are compatible with all the rifles and the DR200 accepts sights. I see you havent even tested the mod.... If you want sights on some of the daewoos no lol, thats not why they are there.

Making guns variants that do not accept sights is just pure bloat imo, unless you make them specifically around that feature, meaning guns being bad (very high recoil, or that degrade fast) and easy to obtain, which doesn't seem to be what you did here, that's why it struck me and rather felt like an inconsistency, although I admit I didn't test your addon extensively. But well, it's fine: making guns compatible with a lot of sights is a lot of work.
From my own perspective, I added these guns because I love iron sights and they look cool. For others, i respect your playthrough choices but this mod will not change in any way to accommodate scopes on the irons only weapons
