Doom alternative HD sprites (update 8.9. 23) addon

After one year on my Patreon page are all alternative sprites for classic doom games free for all. Pack contains two pk3 files. One is classic pack but with alternative skins and second is with some sprites with halloween style. This pack also contains halloween shotgun skin.

INSTALLATION

All sprites are tested and optimized for GzDoom. I think works also in Zandronum but not tested.

Go where you have installed GzDoom and put one pk3 file in main GzDoom folder. Open gzdoom-“XY.ini “ file and under [Global.Autoload] or [doom.Autoload] add

Path=marcelus_alt_sprites.pk3

or

Path=halloween_doom.pk3

or

simple put pk3 file over gzdoom.exe

FOR BEST RESULT PLEASE SET in GzDoom Under hardware rendering

For best result for halloween pack is fine using some mods with darker light (recommend darkdoom mod)

This sprites are only replacement and do not need special settings but works without problem especially with vanilla games or with mods with default sprites. Is not much compatible with brutal doom .
