Reweight and max_use for EFP 4.0 and vanilla. A bit cheaty as always but still believable, update covert few items that I missing and add tweaks for repair condition/bonus
Reweight and max_use for EFP 4.0 and vanilla as well. A bit cheaty as always but still believable (Lot of items have double max_use, but some kits will be heavier, and I tweaked repair_min/max_condition as well as repair_bonus so you will find that they are worth the weight)
Here is my idea for those items (Things may different with the EFP 4.0 version as I must ensure the value fits the description):
Cleaning kit: for cleaning/maintaining a gun that is still in good condition, not for repair, quite bulky but still carryable so high repair_min_condition, low bonus, and high max_use
Repair kit: for repairing/replacing gun/parts that are broken/in bad condition, bulky but still carryable, so low repair_min_condition, high bonus, and limited max_use (still better than vanilla)
Gun oil, cleaning spray/solvent, ramrod and file: light and compact, mean to be used both in the field or in the base but can only maintain/cleaning so medium repair_min_condition, high repair_max_condition, low bonus, and high max_use
Armor/Exo repair kit: for repairing/replacing parts that are damaged so they are bulky and heavy and not meant to be used on the field, so low repair_min_condition, high repair_max_condition, higher bonus, and slight high max_use. And they are heavy of course
Armor emergency/field repair kit: they mean to be used on the field, so their compact and light enough to carry around, so lower repair_min_condition, increase repair_max_condition, high bonus, and limited max_use
Thread, glued, and sewing kit: light and compact, meant to be used both in the field or in the base but can only mending/repaired so medium repair_min_condition, increase repair_max_condition, low bonus, and increase max_use
Now repair tools are cost-effective
To-do:
- Part bonus (I need to play more to test the balance)
- Price

Thank you
does this with Gamma?
I don't use GAMMA, but is DLTX and only edits weight and max_use of vanilla items so it should be compatible
Hi man, I thought you might know so i wanted to ask; how can i edit the minium condition required for repair kits? I like the mod and I'm using it for gamma and I wanted to see if I could change the minimum condition myself. Just let me know if you know how. Thanks!
You need to add these lines to repair kits, for example:
![cleaning_kit_u] repair_min_c
repair max_c
repair add_c
--an item with a condition below this value can't be repaired--
--an item with a condition above this value can't be repaired--
--condition restored to items when using kit--
P/S: I will update this mod with repair_min/max_condition soon, but feel free to change the value however you want
somehow Moddb comment box is broken and keeps messing with my comment so sorry if it's not readable/understandable. Btw repair max_c = repair_add_condition and so on
Hey, nice mod, but which repair kit is what? like what does r5 or r7 mean?
r5 for rifle chambered in 5.56 caliber, r7 for 7.62 caliber, sorry for late rep
