Are you ranking-up too fast? Too slow? You can fix it with this. This addon modifies the points given by killing stalkers according to rank.

DLTX Rank Kill Points
Version 0.1
This addon only modifies the [rank_kill_points] values in .\gamedata\configs\creatures\game_relations.ltx
It doesn't mess with neither other ranking values, nor algorithms nor scripts.

Exposition:
Each time the player kills another npc stalker, the game rewards this according to the killed stalker's rank. The higher the rank, the higher the amount of points rewarded. The player is granted a new rank after a certain threshold.
For some, ranking up is too tough and cumbersome in vanilla, and yet probably too easy and fast with addons that want to improve ranking.
But you can use this addon to tweak that to your liking, I offer 2 new [rank kill points] tables based on math integer sequences:
Fibonacci:
novice = 5
trainee = 8
experienced = 13
professional = 21
veteran = 34
expert = 55
master = 89
legend = 144
Square Pyramidal:
novice = 5
trainee = 14
experienced = 30
professional = 55
veteran = 91
expert = 140
master = 204
legend = 285

So which one to choose?
-I would say that if you have a vanilla game_relations.ltx and you want to speed up your ranking-up to something natural, go with Fibonacci.
-If you have installed addons like "Improved Ranks 1.22" or "Improved Ranks Revisited" and you feel you're going too fast, then go with Square Pyramidal, if that's still too fast then use Fibonacci or go back to vanilla.
- But they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a chart comparing these sequence tables so you can choose what will suit you the best:

Changelog:
0.2 Quickfix
- File redundance to assert dominance. Created another set of files for stablishing the values in the system.
0.1 Initial Release
- New "Fibonacci" and "Square Pyramidal" dltx files to modify [rank_kill_points] values in .\gamedata\configs\creatures\game_relations.ltx

Prerequisites and Compatibilyty:
- DLTX v7 is the only prerequisite.
- Fully compatible with most mods that would modify game_relations.ltx, like "Improved Ranks 1.22" or "Improved Ranks Revisited". (See Disclaimer)

Disclaimer:
This addon doesn't modify any other values but [rank kill points] only. Other addons like "Improved Ranks 1.22" or "Improved Ranks Revisited" modify other values for their own reasons, like the so called "rating" and "rating_names" in the [game_relations] section at the begining. So for example if you use them, your character will become a legend at 50k points instead of at 28k as in vanilla, among other changes.
So when modding your game take in account that this addon (DLTX Rank Kill Points) exclusively modify the table for [rank_kill_points].

Great deal, and nice tablet.
I'm glad that it's been useful to you.
I used the Fibonacci version, but during the game I got the same amount of points as Vanilla. For example, for killing the Wolf, I got 10 points, not 55.
I tested with killing Wolf and for me it doesn't even gives me any points from it, lmao. Must be something about being a special character.
So I doubled down and did some file redundancy, double-checked it and it gives the right amount of points from killing other stalkers, try the 0.2 quickfix.
everything works now, thanks for your work and your addon.
You're welcome man, thanks for reporting the issue.
Hello, is there way to do this same but with the mutants instead of the Stalkers?
Because for what I have noticed, it gives you the same score if you kill a pseudogiant with a knife than if you kill a moron flesh with a bazzoka...
I'll check into it, because I'm interested in it too! It will need scripting, so it's way more than just a dltx. What I saw is that the mutant reward points are a flat-rate for every mutant, too bad.
Exactly, it gives the same to kill a rat that a bloodsucker ... would be great if you will find the way to change that, but please, create an option without the need to use DLTX... please.
so why npc never rank up when they have kills like my companion has killd many stalkers but never rank up and even high rank stalker most of them are carry low tier weapons and some didt even have exosuit in first play i thought rank has effact on there equipment and skills but they all looks the same to me is there any mod can change and fix that?
As far as I know there's no mod that change this, but maybe there is. Meanwhile I spotted where that was deactivated and I wonder why, I'll be checking on this issue checking if it doesn't breaks another thing, I guess I could have some answer for the next update, cheers.
Can i use this addon without dltx?
Not in the way it is right now with 0.2. I can get a non-dltx version for the next update, but did you had any issue installing dltx? Just saying because dltx had been helpful in making most things compatible without the need to make patches on top of patches for compatibility, and it is not a big hassle to install, it kinda just works out of the box.
hello
new game required?
For 0.2: No new game required, and you can uninstall it anytime and keep playing the same save-file.
Can you make a mod for NPC stalker gain rank rates and equipment etc? would be nice to see some of these guys actually gain ranks and better equipment etc!
