Cost an absurd amount to buy and has zero value when trying to sell to traders, but gives 25% bonus to weapon repairs from all the gooey slime it contains. Spawns on monolith members and zombified stalkers.
It could just replace the plastic jar item already in the game honestly.

I love how this is getting praised to high heaven, albeit it's much more effort put in, but the original meme mods that replaced the Photo of a loved one with other characters got absolutely dunked on for being shitposts.

Agree. I also saw you other comment below, I can totally relate. I guess most people on ModDB don't understand jokes or sarcasm. Or both.
It seems to be frustration about the sheer number of addons for Anomaly. ModDB hasn't done much to improve their UI since I started using it years ago, so it makes searching through a popular addon or mod list a pain. It's like looking for something specific on GameBanana.
Anyway, so they harass any modder who doesn't know the etiquette of making a mod pack or generally makes anything they average Tarkov addict doesn't like. It's just really sad to see man. Like someone will make a texture tweak or a little quality of life fix and get bombed on for it. No that I think he means it in that way but Grok used to be pretty harsh on folks for their mods as well, sadly. But it seems they learned from it and improved on that aspect.
Just a lot of undue hostility over simple, petty stuff. But it's the internet. It's never going away. I just hope new modders don't let it get to them is all.
Edit: As for my ****** joke I think it was just that guy who didn't like it, though I clarified just to make sure it wasn't misunderstood. Happens a lot on here. Text is hard to get tone from after all!

Honestly, all jokes aside, I don't understand why this item even exist... I mean, I kinda understand the premise, but the fact that it's just a picture of one girl that is scattered around the Zone is just hilarious to me, I can't get over it. I think it would've been better if icon didn't show you that much detail and description was like "it's a picture of a happy beautiful lady"
And also there was an actual separate item you could pick at the start of the game with your own custom picture. I bet that looking at Al... I mean, Shrek definitely could restore a little bit of your psy health.
Having your own picture for selection in early game is super, super easy if you prefer that. Just add a new entry to items_trash.ltx by copying the existing photo item but renaming it, point it at a new texture (or rename the one existing in this mod) and then in the new game loadout .ltx add the name of the new photo. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes total.
It's a carryover from Misery. Misery added a lot of low value, useless items to add some life to the Zone. A lot of people meme about the sheer number of items that Misery added but hell, most of them are useful. I genuinely miss having repair items like gun oil in vanilla, because it makes fragile weapons like the AKS-74U literally useless due to how quickly they degrade. Like why have the gun if it is rendered totally useless even fully upgraded after a couple short engagements?
Anyway, stuff like this item are meant to humanize NPCs in a way. Hell I even take part. If I find it on an NPC I leave it on them. If it were real, i'd do that. And besides, it's not worth enough to bother taking you know?
Yeah, I understand that. It's just the fact that this item looks like it's a picture of one woman scattered around the Zone ruins it for me. But now, thanks to EnyoNomad, I can easily fix this little problem. I'm kinda obsessed with immersion, I admit it

This sort of thing is probably why the Misery group didn't add anything like this. Or would have made it more vague, like a little leatherbound photo album booklet or something. What can you do eh? HOnestly I never really look at them that closely either way so im spared at least :P
